Outsider coming in peace - is Andersson just an AHL star who can't translate to the next level or does he still have a potential chance to get onto to the Kings roster?

Bottom 6er for NHL, just constantly got injured when he had his chances and got shuffled around and in and out of the lineup.

He is heating up right now and the Kings should give him one last chance right now while four forwards out.
Turcootee got another cootee in the last game, I would send him back down thru no other fault of his. We got more time to assess him over the next 2 seasons.

He has shown more this season than JAD ever has, and I’d easily make that swap to see what we have in Lias before waivers become an issue.

Can only speculate what his NHL #s may have been getting JADs ice time. Hes got some snarl and grit to boot.
PPG player now in the AHL level and clearly has higher skill level than JAD.

Martin Chromiak in full beast mode as well...13 pts in the last 10 games- and last night was playing with bottom line players. He may be that rare Fiala type player that can produce no matter who his wingers are. Good to see him not getting acclimated but succeeding.

Sizzling weekend.
Kings need to put him in before all star break.
Moore and Kali coming back , followed by Vila.
Now or if injuries to f. reoccur.

I don't think Andersson has the foot speed, frankly. JAD is a much better skater, and that's one of the reasons he's being trusted to play that many minutes right now.

Samuel, the Son of Sami Helenius, has been knocked down in his last 2 fights. He has tremendous courage to start. I hope they can get Marty or Greenie to help him out some! I'm no boxing coach, but it looks like he needs to bob and weave some. But again, he's a very courageous guy and I hope to see him in the big leagues next season!

I think Lias is like Frk and/or Tynan at this point. Too many good young guys ahead of him.

Blake is a hoarder and Andersson is like a dead cat carcass he keeps in the freezer for some reason.
I imagine its hard to let go a guy (Lias) you traded a 2nd round pick for, which the Rangers used for Will Cuylle, 20, a bruiser that "likes" to hit, that's already played in the big leagues.

He's a Rangers forward prospect; he's not developing into much if recent history is any indication.

I’ve only seen 1 Reign game this season and the players that stood out to me were of course Spence and Bjornfot.

What’s going on with Helenius and Lee? Just looking at their numbers that’s a bit disappointing. Was hoping for more from these 2 giants.

Also for being touted as an offensive first player that needs to learn more defense aspects of the game Grans has less than stellar numbers too.

Personally only Helenius and Grans.

There is not much to expect from a 7th round pick (Lee).

Helenius however was a 2nd rounder, did well at the WJC and the Finnish league but not a single goal so far. He is playing with an edge but that’s about it so far. Disappointing.

After a decent college career was just hopeful with Lee that he was a late bloomer.

Really expecting more from Helenius and Grans though.

Thanks for the response.

Seconded on Grans and Helenius.

Will be watching tonights game though.....Chromiak turning into a monster and worth keeping an eye on. Also look forward to seeing Bjornfot and Spence together again. Spence a clearcut NHL talent and thought Bjornfot carved enough to be a mainstay but the allure of switching defensively challenged Durzi to his offside clearly made too much sense to staff that is #22 in Goals Allowed.

Sturm needs to be let go. He is useless.
Better hold on to that #1 pick.
Reign need reinforcements, the Kings down the road need reinforcements.

Bad effort tonight offensively....passes were meak and telegraphed. Not a good outing

Will say- Turcotte clearly has NHL skills- the way he skates and handles the puck are NHL levels. Someone mentioned he may not be an NHL star but could find a role as solid 3rd line center.

Some have said he’s a top 9 players while others like myself say he has a very good chance of being top 6, Mike Richards type.
The kid creates a ridiculous amount of high danger chance, unfortunately most of his line mates have been underwhelming. Swap Lizotte with Turcotte and I guarantee you’d see that top 5 pedigree

This is exactly it.

Similar to Byfield playing with plugs, it's no surprise his production shows up when played in bigger minutes with high skilled players.

Turcotte is arguably even more of a playmaker/buzzsaw, you're wasting his offensive talents with Lemieux, give him Fiala and watch the points flow.

There's a reason he was playing with Zegras and Kaliyev. He's a high-end Iafallo/Lizotte, a puckhound who is going to shatter plays (he was the one of the only ones doing it with regularity vs. TBL and Car frankly) with his speed, smarts, and tenacity and create opportunities for his linemates, he's not a guy who's going to be ripping snipes regularly himself.
