I am pumped to be going to games 1 and 2 here, in Loveland...since I live 3.9 miles from the Budweiser Events Center. Pumped to see them and cheer them on!

I’m mostly pleased to see Akil Thomas making a significant contribution at this point. He’s had a really strong spell (7 goals and 10pts in last 12 regular season games), now he’s got back to proper game shape following the double shoulder surgery. Now he’s had a really good start to the play-offs. Hopefully he will get a great pre season in and then get a long look and at least a cup of coffee. He’s one of our culture defining prospects so I really hope he can make it.

Nice to see Fagemo looking sharp and Turcotte getting a couple of points also. Both have looked good aside from the points.

I’m at the game. Row 8 on the Eagles defending blueline for periods 1 and 3.
Turcotte was bringing the puck in the Eagles zone with speed.(100 feet from my seat, at the blue line I’m at) Got hit very hard and square. Could not tell if the hit was impact on the head. But think so. Happened fast. He went down hard. Was laying there maybe 5 seconds . Then got up to try to go to the bench . As soon as he was upright and moving slowly, he fell forward down, almost face planted and broke the fall with his hands. F. He then made it to the bench abd was huddled over 3 or 4 minutes and attended too: then went down the tunnel. I about cried. And I almost left.

Thanks for the update. Just heartbreaking for the kid. No words. I wouldn't be surprised if he's out for a long time. Just hope he's okay.

Seeing him fall face first forward back down when he just got was a horrible thing to see .

A few players were entering the zone and between them and the eagle defenders, I did not have a totally uninstructed view, but good enough to see he was hit square and hard
 
poor f***in kid. just can't catch a break. last one was a concussion, no? presuming this is another in short order..

Makes me sick just reading that. So sad for the kid. Hope for a full recovery.
