I see Wagner didn't play due to a suspension for his check on Arseneau. He got a 5 min major for the hit so it's not surprising.

The hit was pretty dirty af from what I remember. Areseneau was hunched over sideways digging for a puck and Wagner came in and checked his head into the boards. Replay looked kind of nasty.

Areseneau was running guys all game long and I think at one point he was trying to fight either Turcotte or Madden.

People can draw their own opinions based on that.

Yeah. I'm completely okay with the suspension. He led with his elbow and made clear contact with the head against the boards.

It's a career-ending type of hit. I'm not happy with Arseneau running Kings prospects, but it's indefensible.

Unfortunately it's Turcotte last season if I remember correctly, in one of the games he tripped on a skate right off the faceoff, fell on the ice, really looked harmless and missed a few games so who knows. Hopefully it's nothing serious.
 
So, it would seem Byfield plays Tuesday in Bako. The Kings return from the 2 game trip and host Dallass Thursday. I suppose it's conceivable, that QB could play Thursday, for the Kings. BUT, would be a little shocking and think they would want to give him 3-5 games with the Reign.

However, stranger things have happened...just not good things.

I'm still surprised Calgary didn't claim Wagner at the start of the year. Especially with Pitlick going down. I wonder what kind of value (if any) he has league wide
 
Santa Ana winds, Covid and now Jah reaching down and striking the poor coach. Reign cannot catch a break.
 
Goodness gracious Kings and Reign can't catch a break. Hopefully it's just time off to ponder whether to take the Kings head coaching job that's secretly offered to him. But seriously though he's done a great job this year with the Reign after last years season. Hope he can come back soon.
