TIL Loctite is really sweet.

I don't know what this all means, but it seems to me , big take away is that there was some plowing, and now you have a funny taste in your mouth???

The BCHL confirms at least five Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) teams will join the BC league next season.

Police charge security guard after attack on Edmonton city hall; national security police probing incident

A man accused of firing a gun and throwing homemade bombs in Edmonton city hall is facing a string of charges.

There is a video circulating of the perpetrator giving his reasoning behind the attack. It appears to be Gaza related with some other stuff (wokeism, etc.) mixed in. In addition to the Gaza (condemns Isreal) point, he ends the video in Arabic (Sorry, cant translate) so one can gather this is why the National Security Service is involved.

I want to hear the story behind this one.

There should be quadruple redundancy on water treatment systems for a major 1st world city supplying water to over a million inhabitants with every spare part required in triplicate.

But Edmonton councillors and mayors are too busy catering to the bike lane and mass transit people to worry about trivial things like water treatment plants working.

Just another faux pas black eye for city council who can’t get a bridge built on time or on budget, get major infrastructure built that actually works and who cares less about the safety and security of its citizens than making sure the 20 people who bike to work in February get their bike lanes plowed before the actual roads.

My wife and I will be showering together as long as this water ban continues. She isn’t following this and asks if it’s still in place. I told her the ban and this showering arrangement are necessary for the remainder of the year and perhaps longer. This is dire, folks; dire. We all must do our part.
