Good reply. It's a very difficult question to answer because everyone has such different tastes. We've gone with many different couples over the years, many of them going for the first time, and we ended up doing completely different things each time, as some people are into fancy restaurants, staying out till the sun comes up, etc, some are on more of a budget and want to mainly go to the free sightseeing activities, others want to soak up the sun at a cabana during the day, others love their shopping. So to give proper recommendations you really need a bit more info to help cater the trip to the specific person/couple.

I assume Bellagio was your favorite hotel/casino?

It was at the time it opened. Back then guests of the hotel dressed up more than they do now a days, so for a weekend that we stayed there, I would pack suits/sports jackets and my wife some nice dresses, would have nice dinners at Picasso and Le Cirque, and then have a private balcony outside the restaurant to watch the fountain show. Haven't done that for a while now, dress code has sharply declined over the years. Which is fine, I prefer business casual anyhow. Of course since then lots of newer resorts have opened, so many great choices. But now we pretty much strictly stay at private condos on the strip. Don't have to pay the resort fees, get owner privileges (cabana, etc), full kitchens, separate bedroom, great balcony views, good deals as repeat customers, etc, and still have all the usual benefits of staying at the resort.

If one is feeling sporty, I would suggest either the batting cages near McCarron airport (can't remember the name of the place now, but they have outfields of Wrigley, Green Monster, Yankee Stadium) and you want to take a crack at a few 90 MPH fastballs. And if your into swinging some clubs, Topgolf is always a lot of fun to test your skill.

Why? Expos left 20 years ago, Allouettes haven’t played there in almost as long and nobody watches their games anyway. That stadium was a white elephant that nobody wanted to go inside since the closing ceremony of the 76 Olympic Games. To still be spending money on it (especially that much) 50 years later is such a waste.

It's the way they roll over there. See exhibit B.

This is why I had little issue using however they delegated public money to our arena and now Calgary's.

The amount of money Quebec pisses away on these Field of Dreams is sickening. Then always complaining they don't get enough funds.

Edit - I got political so deleted it before Troll Stomper kicked me in the nuts again.

Think there just may be a few little tweaks to the WM next year. ;)

Yup, encouraging drinking, loud behaviour and boisterous yelling. Who knew this was coming.;) People simply can't control themselves and a few always wreck it for the rest. Inevitable.

And.....what an incredible performance and comeback by Nick Taylor. Saw this on a few of the screens in the bar in Bucerious alongside the other ones showing the other Taylor.
