I said two years ago he needed to tone it down. I like his passion but blowing a gasket in the playoffs always leads to the wheels falling off. Thats about the only thing I dislike, but its a problem
Unless I missed Rod doing it a few times, Mo flipped out on the refs more this series then Rod did. Didn’t seem to bother the refs that much.

Because he’s a horrendous playoff player.
7 points in 14 games this year.
5 points in 14 games during last year's disappointing season.
5 points in 11 games in 2021.
4 points in 8 games in 2020.

He's consistently been a half point per game playoff performer except for last year's complete disappointment.

NGL I kind of want to see Maurice win the Cup just to shove it in the face of all the people who talked shit on him over the years. That guy’s list of detractors is a mile long and they’re not looking too smart right now.
nah I'd be ok if he didn't. Guy is an asshole who ran himself out of town here twice and tried to bury Brindy at the end by stripping him of the C while he was still playing

That was a heck of a series. Even though we were swept, we lost by the slimmest of margins while missing two top line forwards. We had virtually no puck luck. How many posts did we hit? I'm not taking anything away from the Panthers. Having beaten Boston they had far less pressure on them and peaked at the right time.

I'm 100% pulling for Florida. It would be cool to see all of Mo, Eric, Loustarainen, Lyon, and Dalpe win the Cup.

A half point player a 40 point player. Necas doesn’t bring anywhere near enough to the table when he doesn’t have the puck to be getting top minutes and scoring 40 points.

You can't stay the panthers didn't deserve to win this series, but it's absurd that we got swept given how we played. Someone pissed off the hockeys gods.

Pesce was high-key bad this series. He is my whipping boy and I say we fire him into the sun for a top 6 forward.

The difference is Mo’s guys made plays and won and Rod’s guys didn’t. And all the bitching about the refs from our fans…show me a team who loses a series that doesn’t blame the refs. As unfair as it seems we have to play through it.

Brindy had the worst +/- in the entire league by a *very* wide margin that year. He was terrible and stayed a year too long.

As for being "an asshole" who "ran himself out of town", I don't even know what that means. What are you even talking about?

I think it’s more an issue of having no desire to play this kind of game. He’s the one guy on the team who really and truly dodges hits. That’s never gonna be playoff style hockey.

He and Turbo both do. Look more concerned with not getting hurt than winning games.

Add to that Aho and Jarvis are on the small side and the top 6 has too much sugar and not enough eggs and flour to cook.

And once again, he was Pittsburgh losing to the team that is picking #1 overall next year in game 82 away from missing the playoffs entirely with a team that won the presidents trophy last year.

The NHL playoffs are the dumbest thing on earth.
