The powerplay tells you everything that's wrong with this organization.

Ok, your #1 defenseman gets hurt. That's gonna hurt anybody.

Out of the next 6, 7 guys on the roster. Not a f***ing one can go out there for two minutes and make the powerplay look any semblance of belonging in the NHL.

That's the depth of offensive talent we have back there.

The powerplay should obviously be the 5F unit but it had one bad game so everyone decided it was bad and needed Zac Jones since he's secretly this amazing offensive talent and it's 1/13 since.

When will every single fan figure out that if you think every Ranger coach has sucked, that it's about the players?

Coaches can only matter for a short stretch.

How many Rangers are elusive on offense and can create?

Panarin and JT, and Fox, when he's not skating in slush.

The difference between how the Rangers skate and how their opponents skate is incredible.

That has nothing to do with who 's coaching.
Choosing to sit Berard is on the coach. Choosing to bench Jones for 3 months is on the coach & then limiting his ice in the 3rd today when he was clearly the best D man we had playing is on the coach. 20 too many men penalties for the season is on the coach.

I agree there is a lack of talent & a huge player entitlement issue here, but Lavi is not part of the solution.

3-1 lead. 10 minutes to go and lose. That is what we are this year.

The stink is still there. They still haven't figured it out that they need to have it as much as the opponent wants it. They can't get by on what used to work.

No sense in being upset with this one. We suck and this is what we are, a team that has a coin toss chance of beating a wild card team.
The 23/24 team would never have lost this game. They had killer instinct. This years team.... just confusion and no execution.

One last thing, Shesterkin has cost us 3 or 4 points in the last week alone. Against the Caps and Leafs he faced something like 25 shots and 17. So spare me wah wah wah the shots against. Sometimes goalies face a lot of shots. When it's a few shots all you hear about is how he needs to face more shots to get in the game.

Edit: This is a reasonable take, no caps, cursing, or exclamaltion points. This guy is a f***ing liability like I've never seen before.

His barber must hate him, this is an impossibly bad haircut.

And thinking his ice time was limited in the 3rd is on the biased fans.

Which period do you think he got the most even strength time on in this game?

The answer is the 3rd period. He got more EV time in the 3rd than Borgen and a big 40 seconds left than Miller.

In the first period he got 28.1% of the EV ice
In the second period he got 26.3% of the EV ice
In the third period he got 28.4% of the EV ice

His ice time was not reduced as the game went on.

Stone can stay on it for like 99% of how many seasons, yet can’t can’t put a guy who can barely move on it.
It was criminal that we didn't exploit that loophole last year when both Lindgren & Trouba were legit injured. Nope, not this braindead org....Let's rush both guys back instead of going all in at the deadline.

Legit asking, what was his ice time in the last 5-8 minutes. Looked like he was skipped more than a few shifts.

That also doesn't invalidate my other points.

Kreider cannot play right now. He looks like can’t move at all.

The OT play this year has been really pathetic.

This team is still not good enough, especially upfront. There are too many passengers. Seeing Lafrenieres regression has been really disappointing. Just a total non-factor.

I’m sick of Laviolette too. It’s not all his fault, but some of his lineups and mental errors are just mind boggling. How do you get a Too Many Men penalty with seconds ticking off the clock. There’s been a ton of them too.
If CK is not at least 90% he should not be playing. I feel like I have said that for months.

Usually (not always) that is a player issue. Know who your guy is and do not jump on until your guy is there. Its not that complicated. If your guy does not come then do not go. If your player is not on the bench do not touch the puck. The refs give a little leeway so you really do not have much of an excuse.

He had a shift from 14:51 to 15:11 and one from 17:37 to 18:37.

That seems pretty normal? Obviously the first shift was short and I don't know why as there wasn't a whistle.

His ice time was limited after the senators made it a 3-2 game, he got skipped over and didn’t play until after the game was tied.
