When will every single fan figure out that if you think every Ranger coach has sucked, that it's about the players?

Coaches can only matter for a short stretch.

How many Rangers are elusive on offense and can create?

Panarin and JT, and Fox, when he's not skating in slush.

The difference between how the Rangers skate and how their opponents skate is incredible.

That has nothing to do with who 's coaching.
I like how you seemingly managed to miss me absolutely ripping the players in my next 4 bullets?

I'm frustrated like everyone else but its a mediocre team so I understand. We are not icing a lot of talent right now.

Our current defensive group is a bunch of castoffs and 2 underperforming 1st round picks.

Our offense is several guys over 30 that will never be in their primes again plus a #1 overall pick who has taken a step back.

Yes they are the NY Rangers but the team played over their heads last season and then fell off a table. The warts we have seen for years have gotten worse and worse. They will not get better. I still think we have a chance to make the playoffs but I expect Drury to move 3-6 large name Rangers in the offseason. This window is closed. The only question now is will the team be better next season after wholesale changes.

As good as JT has been, getting him is just doubling down on a core that hasn't worked. This team needs a full rebuild.
This has been the weirdest season with the weirdest player moves. It's literally reshuffling deck chairs on the titanic, but yet there's absolutely no clear direction of a plan forward. It's exactly what I decribed it as a few months ago, purgatory. Not bad enough to get a high pick, way too shitty to contend for a cup.

Kreider cannot play right now. He looks like can’t move at all.

The OT play this year has been really pathetic.

This team is still not good enough, especially upfront. There are too many passengers. Seeing Lafrenieres regression has been really disappointing. Just a total non-factor.

I’m sick of Laviolette too. It’s not all his fault, but some of his lineups and mental errors are just mind boggling. How do you get a Too Many Men penalty with seconds ticking off the clock. There’s been a ton of them too.

And while we're all ranting; slap a frickin' C on someone's jersey already. I don't really care who, but at least pretend that there's some leadership, accountability and ownership from within the playing group

3-1 lead. 10 minutes to go and lose. That is what we are this year.

The stink is still there. They still haven't figured it out that they need to have it as much as the opponent wants it. They can't get by on what used to work.

No sense in being upset with this one. We suck and this is what we are, a team that has a coin toss chance of beating a wild card team.

Considering they said we were 22-1-3 with a lead going into the third this year it would seem to me that this was *not* what we have been this year.

And the talented players get benched for absolute scrubs who shouldn’t be on the team. Tired of the decision making from the top down.
It's amazing how Berard gets scratched for Parsinnen. A guy who's been here for a week and 3 teams now in short, unsuccessful career.

Play him at center? Okay. I can validate it maybe. But he played the wing today lol.

I'm sure Berard had his pencils and five star 5 subject notebook in the press box "learning" though.

This game won't upset me, but the constant dinosaur management of our own drafted players will drive me up the wall

This team so badly needs an upgrade on defense and they bring in Carson Soucy.

It's not even anything that Soucy did wrong, it's just that they obviously don't get it.

Aside from Stralman's brief run, they've needed another first-pair caliber defenseman since the Zubov trade.

They never get it. It's one guy and five oafs. That's the organizational mandate.
The last time we had a solid top 4 this organization looked at Stralman's steady play and thought a 40 yr old will put us over the top. We've been cursed with mismanagement since 94 when we traded for the 80s Oilers and Keenan's disciples.

It's crazy how every team we play, even the bad ones, we they at least two really good defensemen.

I mean, that's like having three or four good forwards. Actually you should have like five or six. It's not rocket science.

Three of your defensemen should be really good.

Ottawa is nothing to plan the parade over and they have Sanderson and Chabot.

We're seriously just gonna go "well, you have Adam Fox" for an entire generation.
It’s f***ing insane. Go through the entire league and there’s maybe 2 or 3 teams with a worse defense than the rangers all the time. It’s an organizational philosophy that needs to be rooted out. Unfortunately it won’t be with Drury at the helm.

The powerplay tells you everything that's wrong with this organization.

Ok, your #1 defenseman gets hurt. That's gonna hurt anybody.

Out of the next 6, 7 guys on the roster, not a f***ing one can go out there for two minutes and make the powerplay look any semblance of belonging in the NHL.

That's the depth of offensive talent we have back there.

No idea why they’re not just shutting Kreider down the rest of the year. He looks like shit, you can’t trade him until the summer so might as well just let him heal
Stone can stay on it for like 99% of how many seasons, yet can’t can’t put a guy who can barely move on it.

We continue to really struggle with the basics in all aspects of the game. Miller's pass in OT a perfect example of just not executing.

Not sure can really afford to sit guys like Berard who at least attempt to play an up-tempo game.

CK is a corpse at this point. Moving on from him and Laf and trying to find some 40-50 point guys with speed and jump wouldn't be the worst thing
Rangers have always been bad at the game's "fundamentals" -- how hard is it to pass to the stick of a moving player? After watching K'Andre, one would get the impression that it's almost impossible.
