If McDavid was giving it to the coaching staff there at the end of the game it was probably for putting Puljujarvi out there as the extra forward ... dude just casually does his whole clumsy dumb f*** routine when the puck comes to him on the boards with zero urgency and McDavid has to try and get the puck back from the Seattle player because Jesse can't hold control of the puck.

What a freaking disaster of a pick that was.

Stapling PJ to McDavids wing game in and game out then playing him of all people as the extra man should be termination material.

and Edmonton smiled and ran up to pick JP that bust lol

It just goes to show who is in charge. That is coming from upstairs.

I actually have intel that it is, but that is common sense.

Same thing Todd M said. Red Wine summit.

It was straight up bizarre. Plus that Holloway had it going all game tonight but gets glued to the bench because of the penalty. Even Janmark tonight was a better option and made a great feed on the McD goal. He's a guy that can at least be a bumper.

I made a comment that McD was gesturing at the coaches late in game as it was 3 goals down. He wasn't happy about some decisions, thats for sure. he was directing some message to coaches and throwing his hand in the air. Was interesting.

Yep it’s all garbage already. This team is a disaster off the ice.

Listen to this 7 minutes and 29 seconds of utter bullshit and tell me Trotz shouldn’t be airlifted in here right f***ing now.

Woodcrap is handing out participation ribbons post game.

Watching him during the game. His body language just spelt defeat.

In fairness to him what's he supposed to do ... this d-corps just can't play defence, and Bouchard and Broberg apparently need to be baby sat constantly as a pre-requisite for even being functional players ... this is the NHL, not a f***ing day care facility, teams will pick up on that and make you pay for it.

The simply can't defend any type of lead. When we have a lead, it's basically just because the time in the game ran out, not so much that we can hold a lead, this d-corps just can't do it.

It must be hard as a coach here, to get any of your players to buy in when Coach McDavid and Draisaitl call the shots anyways.

Do people watch that BS? i can't stand pre and post game garbage that is all robotic talk
I do sometimes after a win! But stick mostly clear after a loss. Was more curious how Woody was going to continue to put lipstick on a pig.

Yeah I'm sure Connor and Leon are telling the Oilers to draft like dog shit, make no good trades. I guess Connor probably did give them a kick in the ass when he told them to sign Kane.

I usually see that stuff but we had to vamoose as my buddy had to pick his kids up from the airport postgame so we left right after the 5th goal. Be curious to see that.

McDavid was pissed with PJ last game as well.

I just posted it in this thread and the fire Woody thread.

Edit - see you already saw it!

I’d trade Bouchard for Chychrun, but that’s partly because I have major concerns about Bouchard.
There's one year age difference between Chychrun and Bouchard. Armstrong wants to stockpile picks and build through the draft. He doesn't want a project defenseman. Broberg better fits the age group that Armstrong is at the front end of rebuilding Arizona. Deep suckage to open a new arena with a solid young core ready to roll.

Bouchard++ for Parayko my man!

Need bigger veteran defenseman who can clear paint, block out and cycle break at the heart of legitimate Cup contenders.

Nurse - Parayko
Chychrun - Ceci
Kulak - Barrie

8 seasons with arguably the most talented player of all time and they have 4 total playoff series wins and are a mediocre .500 team in his 8th season. Just rotting away the primes of two of the best players in the NHL and a complete afterthought in the contender landscape and an irrelevant franchise quite frankly.

Only the Oilers could accomplish this feat with the absolute gift from the hockey gods that they got handed to them.

Edit: 3 playoff series wins. 4 series wins in 8 seasons is too much to ask.

You look back on it though and its literally been a league wide effort.
