I’m happy the Nucks are having a winning season and building upwards for what seems the first time in awhile but they ain’t there yet. The Oilers aren’t winning with that roster either. Some weak banter from both sides as well. Some Oil fans bringing up past achievements like there at a high school reunion telling everyone about that hot chick they hooked up with 20 years ago. Some Nucks fans thinking were better then we really are. You guys go ahead though and go in circles

Lose too many in the beginning and it jeopardizes playoff chances. It catches up later in the year.

Why is it a dumb take when everyone here were singing the praises of Oilers and proclaiming them cup favourites before the season? Now when I talk about it, it's a dumb take. Give me a reason why it is a dumb take instead writing some one liners.


If you shut down Mcjesus or injure him with a big clean hit, then they would be done. Oilers go as far as Mcjesus takes them. Prime example is how when McDavid went cold the whole Oilers team went cold and were piling up losses. Now McDavid and Drai are putting up points and all of a sudden Oilers are winning.

As a Canucks fan, I have no doubt in my mind that they'll make the playoffs and potentially even be ahead of the Canucks (tied for league lead in ROW) by seasons' end.

Too much firepower on that team when McDavid is healthy.
