Write it off and move onto the next game.

Tough to mount a comeback when an answering goal comes within a minute every single time. The loss isn't on Brossoit but the Jackets really seemed able to pot most of their chances.

For a team we don't play much I have a healthy dislike for the Bluejackets. Cap off a game full of dives and sneaky dirty **** like that elbow on Nurse capped off with outright garbage from that human outhouse Dalton Prout.

Same guy that laid 6 or 7 crosschecks on that Penguin earlier this year.

Oilers didn't play that poorly really. Reminded me of when we blew away Ottawa when we didn't really deserve to.

I don't at all. Can barely get up to watching the Oilers play this team. Not sure theres been a more pointless franchise in the league. Probably Arizona but shortlist.

I don't know theres a team in the league that says "Wow, we're playing Columbus tonight, you guys amped"

um, no, not ever..

The only thing I'll say about the goaltending is that at some point you need your goalie to make a save for you. We didn't get that tonight.

Of course LB is a rookie in his third career game, these things are going to happen.

Don't really care about this game to be honest. 3rd game in 4 nights, LB had a rough night and we played Nikita Nikitin. It's whatever as long as the team shows up in the next game.

also....

this seems like the kind of game that will spiral into a pathetic losing streak.

Yeah, this isn't right, at all. That's maybe a 4-3 game with Talbot in net. The two Savard goals and the one that went off Hall's stick were no doubters.

Easy to say but you can't be certain. He leaped across the crease leaving a five hole a beach ball could've snuck through. Pads could've been closer to the ice IMO. He lept across, not slid across.

You know when your brain tells you that's a goal before its scored? Well tipped or not, the amount of net I saw behind brossiot on that goal made my brain tell me it was a goal before it was official.

Can't say Cam wouldn't of saved it either. They don't have the same techniques.

Don't forget, "Do whatever the **** we feel like, because we aren't going to get penalized until the game is out of reach for them."

The first two goals were horrific defensive breakdowns, I'd have been impressed with any goalie that kept on 0-0 after those opportunities.

Talbot at worst would have given up 2 goals in this one and we win.

Half the reason the Oilers were giving up some chances is being down 2-3 goals all night DUE TO BROSSOIT.

He was the reason Columbus. won. From the start he was awful.

"Horrific breakdowns" lol. Missing in that synopsis is that the Oilers outshot, outchanced and outplayed the Jackets most of the game cept anytime we scored Brossoit was laying another **** in his net.

Couldn't do anything because of the instigator in the final 5 minutes of game. He would have gotten a 1-game suspension like Domi got for an instigator in the final 5 minutes.

It'd be worth it. Letting that **** stand sends an awful message.

Nah, Talbot would have bit tonight too, and no one would have said a word.

I don't think so.

The intensity got sucked out of the team by going down 2-0 instantly and having every comeback attempt squashed immediately after scoring.

I think you can bet on the Oilers having a very energetic start to next game after today's debacle.
