it was a genuine answer. I used non-analytics stats because you always complain about them.

No it's BS. I never complain about stats, I sometimes have issues with the conclusions some draw from them. If you can't understand the difference, that's on you pal. If all you got is sarcastic BS then that's all you got.

TO be clear, I have no issue with people counting shots on net, no complaints at all. If you're going to use that do draw conclusions when comparing teams however, then there are better ways (to put it mildly).

maybe you should talk hockey, give opinions instead of trying to win discussions by copy and pasting stats from websites constantly

Or, ideally, a combination of the two to draw a proper informed conclusion.

Some people on here have wild opinions and stats are unbiased but their interpretation are biased.

Somewhere in between is ideal.

fact is you don't like any stat that disagrees with your hot take, so dismiss them no matter which ones are used.

right now you say that you care about what the standings say, but of course that wasn't true when the leafs sat in first place in the league for most of the year.

Campbell may not be 100% healthy yet from his injury...never hurts to give a little extra rest to a goalie just coming back from injury

Especially if he is going to be shouldering a lot of the load for the rest of the season...give hutch a start he did well against the oilers last time
fine,,rest soup every game not against EDM/Jets

either soup is hurt or Keefe is pulling a babcock

Again, complete BS. Seems like all you do these days is post random stats and spew nonsense.

Lmao Hutch

What’s the point
To give Campbell the night off when he's not 100% healthy? Strange concept.

Campbell is coming off his worst game of the season despite only facing 20 shots and Keefe already said he's not 100% healthy.

The current goaltending situation is unsettling. We obviously need reinforcements.
Bernier, Reimer, or Ullmark would be nice.

Nothing wrong with resting Campbell in a meaningless game with intentions of him being 100% for the playoffs.

You gotta see the whole situation instead of the game by game.
IF this is a meaningless game,,then none of the rest of the reg season matters
A edm win tonight and they are just 1 behind us

I'd spend good money to get the scabs in the 1rst round and let edm/jets go to war

I'd love to know what Dubas is thinking.

Is he trying to get us help or is he happy with what we have? And if he's fine with what we have then why? Does he have so much faith in Campbell or does he figure that Andersen will be better when he comes back healthy? Or does he think Hutch might be the answer (JK).

There's all this talk about Dubas wanting to get us help and everyone's speculating on Ekholm and various forwards but it seems completely pointless until the goalie questions are answered.

I'd love to know what Dubas is thinking ...

I'm not sure how much I'd spend but I agree it's a worthwhile goal.

How is this a meaningless game? We are battling them for the Canadian Cup and the better first round match up

The Oilers GDT is a solid mix of self loathing sprinkled with a deep burning hate for Toronto the city, the Leafs and all of us

That Oiler fanbase is pretty funny considering the amount of high draft picks whose careers they've ruined.....but yet, it's all the refs fault. Lol.

Just wait how much they're gonna hate us once McJesus leaves and comes home. You thought Islander fans were salty......

So do we know if Campbell is actually backing up or is it just an assumption?

If it is VV and Hutch has a crappy start, I don't think they should hesitate to put him in. You acquired him for a reason, give him a chance. Plus, if he performs well, we can have a second goalie controversy for the 3rd string spot!

Says the guy who's been an Andersen apologist at every turn and thinks the Leafs and Oilers are on the same tier. When the Leafs have given up the fewest shots in the division, the second-least amount of goals despite the uncertainty around the goaltending, and you know... don't need to rely on two players to score 60%+ of their goals.

Can't recall the Oilers depth doing anything against Toronto the last 4 games aside from being on the ice for goals against. They had absolutely no answer to the Leafs depth when McDavid and Draisaitl were on the same line.

Be careful for what you wish for, Everyone wants Freddy gone so badly and wants him on LTIR, Hutch is the option you get when Freddy isn't available to us and Campbell still isn't healthy.

Not very optimistic for tonight unless the Leafs from the 3 game set return tonight.

VV is simply not NHL ready. Sure he shores up the depth, but he hasn't been good in North America at any level. He's a long-term project if anything.

Andersen apologist - can you explain what you mean by this term?

We've dominated EDM head to head this season but if they're not even on the same tier as us, why is their record against the rest of the teams better than ours?
