Derek Ryan is perfect depth guy we can bring in if there are injuries in playoffs.. we need an upgrade otherwise.

Skinner has some pretty gaudy stats for a rookie goalie behind a leaky defensive team. If he had more run support he would have a more impressive W/L record. His bad games can be counted on one hand. "Serious warts" seems a bit harsh IMO

100% - for a rookie goalie he's doing great. My comment is in the context of what I want out of a starting goalie on a cup contending team, which is what he will need to be if Campbell's current performance continues.

Campbell has done that like 4 times this year. He is literally in the running for worst goalie in the NHL. Only a couple below him and those guys have injuries and issues with GP.

Literally 50 goalies are outperforming him.

FIFTY - and he has benefitted from plenty of goal reviews this year

Skinner is climbing his way into the top 10 in the league. He’s an all star.

I just realized that the Oilers have 3 more regulation wins than anybody else in the west and are tied with the Leafs for the 2nd most regulation wins in the league behind Boston, of course.

Combine that with only 1 regulation loss in 17 games and it seems kind of silly how much bitching there has been on this board the last few weeks, some from yours truly. Don't get me wrong, it has been far from smooth sailing since the break but maybe we should dial back the hysterics a bit.

Im starting to see some special potential in Broberg. He may never to be an elite offensive threat but his size, skating ability, long reach and above average puck skills could make him a our Klefbom 2.0. Maybe even more mobile than Klef tbh
