Skinner I get but how are you not sold on Nuge in these playoffs? Outside of a few quiet games, he's been absolute money in the playoffs and I'm not just talking about the goals and points, he's been touching every part of the game in a positive way and shouldn't be criticized by anybody who actually watches the little subtle plays he makes and isn't just looking at flashiness.

Same with Henrique to a lesser extent, not making the obvious flashy plays but he's been making all the right plays which is so critical in tight playoff games.

RNH is part of the elite PK AND elite PP for F SAKES AND scored the GW tonight! It should be an insta-ban for the blatant trolling.

Nuge in directly cost us 2 goals that game , first by not getting the puck out when he easily could have and then not doing much on another goal..
Being part of a PP that was 0/15 was also a factor..
He made up for it tonight

DeBoer always looks like somebody just shot his dog.
Did you see him snap at a reporter during the post game presser shown on Sportsnet? Reporter asked a tame question about the Stars energy level tonight and DeBoer lost his mind, threw an F bomb at him and told him to write whatever he wanted to write. Dude is cracking under pressure. I’m starting to understand why he doesn’t last long in the same place even with all the success he’s had.

For me, it’s the blatantly hyperbolic and inaccurate shitting on players that gets tiring. Like we can have our biases and favorites, but lets atleast try be accurate so we can open up a discussion and we’re not just screaming into the void.

Like this statement “Stu never makes big saves”. Just untruths to make your point, doesn’t add nothing to any conversation. It’s just a lie so people can get their bitching out.

Alternatively, a statement like “Stu doesn’t have great lateral movement” can be discussed. Has some merit and opens up a discussion about his top end ceiling.

Why is it that you two are the only ones spreading bad vibes in here after a triumphant game like tonight? Just be happy that Skinner is finally playing as well as you claimed he was the entire time! Every Oiler fan is rooting for Skinner to succeed. Even so-called "Skinner haters" like me.

Just to get things straight. I never went to you. You came to me several times. So I’m not sure where you getting you’re tired of me telling you.

Fans criticize players on a game to game basis. We all do that. We also give them props when they have good games.

Just enjoy the run like the rest of us.
Yep. Apparently it needs to be explained. If a poster complains or shitposts a player they are free to do that. Open season. But telling other posters they are hypocrites or to "jump off a bridge" is not OK, and its not allowed.

Pretty much this, I don’t mind criticism but some “fans” endlessly shit on the team and players any time things aren’t going well and then when the team has success they get real quiet and if you call them out on their bullshit they get all defensive with their just enjoy the win shtick.

But seriously, like just enjoy the win... Most of these players warranted the criticism, such as Skinner, and after a performance like tonight, there's rightfully nothing to criticize. Players should be held accountable and called out when they play like shit, and praised when they play well. It's called discussion and analysis.

He's been good for most of the playoffs, a rough game or two doesn't undo that. Skinner is another story but he's come up big in big moments late in each series.

Im spreading 99.9% good vibes tonight. Dropped the conversation we had earlier for that very reason. I saw a Poster that is a good and positive member of this fanbase and HF Oil get shit on unfairly, I put in my 2 cents in as diplomatically a way possible.

I never claimed he was playing good the entire time. This misunderstanding of what Skinner “stans” are actually saying creates this this clap back. I call out his bad goals like anyone. Where I’ve had disagreement with posters is what actually constitutes a “bad” goal. To haters it’s like EVERY goal which isn’t true, and invites a response. And I’ve always been ready and willing to have a debate about these details if it’s respectful and it’s not just talking to pure anger that won’t invite any alternative view. You want to talk about Skinner, I’m more than game.

I would hope that Oil Country is cheering skinner on. Reading posts about him sometimes that’s hard to believe. The impression left is that posters want him to fail so they can say “see! he’s complete shit!”

Seems like fake angry to a reasonable question. You're down 2 0 and do nothing an entire period?

2nd period discussion was around should oilers skills coach take shots on Skinner to give him some work in intermission.

DeBoer can act fake angry all he wants to motivate his team. The reality is they didn't have fight in them today.
