Oilers are good at hockey again: Back in the plofs

They need a guy they can trust to fill in for a game here and there. And a coach that is willing to do so. Not sure if they feel Pickard is the guy or not. I feel bringing Campbell back is bad juju this season.
Honestly I feel like everyone is sleeping on Pickard but I get why. He's not a big name backup with experience.

Ceci or Kulak would have to out. I wouldn't send Ceci back in this trade, though. He should be able to bring back an asset in a separate deal.
Unpopular opinion

Keep Ceci
Trade foegele

Nurse Tanev
Ek bouch
Kulak Ceci
VD

That is a great d core... Our forward core is still good.

Foegele is playing amazing this year, you don’t trade him now. He also plays a style suited for the playoffs. I’d rather trade Ceci and keep the kulak VD line together which, analytically, is performing at a crazy rate right now.

This is exactly when you trade him. His value has never been higher and he's UFA. He's replaceable and no guarantee he'll even be back next season. His playoff style may be great but he has 4 points in 25 playoff games as an Oiler. Analytically, and on this heater, our D look amazing. I don't trust this core at all in a playoff series vs Avs, Knights, Nucks or Stars though.

43 playoff games and 7 points. His 2018 was very good though! 9 points in 15 games in 2018 playoffs. Since then.. nothing.

Pittsburgh steel retains the record for most consecutive regular season wins. Also they had the most consecutive playoff wins in the postseason as well. That record is 14, consisting of the last 11 of 92 and the first three of '93. Neither of those records will be broken

Same with Flyers 35 game unbeaten streak.

I never understood this argument, this also happens when a forward like McDavid takes over the game as well.

Odd logic and excuse.
I'm just talking about this game. What's hit true. Goalies are the only players who can steal games. One player cannot do it much.

Oilers played 2/3 stinkers too in this streak they could have lost. All balances out

I just mean they shouldn't be too pissed about this game. They have a chance to blowout and bury Vegas and did not do it. Props to hill

Vegas is a stingy team that boxes out well and Oilers still should have had 5 goals

Skinner had it easy. Didn't need to make ten bell saves, but still let his second in. I'd say it was save able

I'm proud of this teams effort tonight. Most of the guys anyways

Oil fans, I despise your squad and would honestly be quite happy if you lost every game to finish the season. With that said, that was a hell of a run and you have sufficiently scared this Nucks fan of the idea of a playoff matchup against you guys. Seriously, congrats on the historic run.
