Post-Game Talk: Oil flooding the infirmary

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
The third goal literally bounces off the post into his glove and he just doesn't notice it.

I wish he played for someone else because it would be hilarious if it wasn't making my favorite team lose over and over again in mortifying fashion.
Just remember, people making franchise altering decisions getting paid millions of dollars to be bad at their jobs decide he was good enough. :)

"We have possession in the offensive zone and they get it" when asked to go over the OT goal.

Knob should write headlines for the NY Times. How'd they get it, coach?

Connor is one of the good Jets.. can root for this guy.
Therefore someone on Oilers should've taken him out of the game in retaliation to McInjury
I won’t ‘root’ for him but I get the gist. Like how can a blatant slash on the wrist go unpunished? He doesn’t return and there’s no retribution? What is wrong with the players on this team. Quite frankly I’m disgusted.

The slash on McD, Ehlers diving, I can’t stand that shit.
Skinner goes without saying at this point and Nuge was a ghost with our top guys out.
I didn't even see the slash on McD in real-time, so I can see why the refs missed it. Ehlers should have been called on the embellishment - that was ridiculous.

Disagreed with Nuge's game. The PK was #92 and #93 saving the day...Nuge has been solid for 3 games in a row now.

I think if the game wasn't close we could seen more fireworks.. happy we clawed back and got the point. Karma will get the Jets

Lots of character revealed tonight. Real impressed this team didn't fold their tent with McDavid going down. Credit to Jeff Skinner going through a season he would not have imagined in Edmonton to persevere & contribute tonight. Hyman is starting to heat up and put back garbage in the net front. Like the work of Line 3 with Nugent Hopkins, Podkolzen, Arvidsson. PK held strong including a weak called 5 on 3.

Lots of positives to take from this game. Take the well earned point and move on.

A bit concerning that all of our big stars seems to be fighting something (Ekholm, Hyman, McDavid, Draisaitl). It might be time to shut down some players for the rest of the season. It might also give us a chance to evaluate players for next year (Savoie, Philip, etc)

I'm happy to take the point and say we were fortunate.

Another guy called Connor can also score in overtime--what a sniper he is. Wish we had a pure goal scorer like him.

Haha-- one more I mean.
