Marner or Nylander?

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Marner without a doubt.

There are lots of games where Nylander makes more of an impact, don't get me wrong. He has a ton of talent. But it's Marner far more often that dictates the game. He's on another level with speed and passing/playmaking. Add in the PK ability and you can't convince me it isn't Marner here.
Lmao, you are just blatantly wrong here. Nylander is a faster skater than Marner, and is just as good at finding insane passes to his linemates. A big problem is that his linemates rarely buries the chances he provides them.

What a terrible choice to make if your team makes the off-season regularly. Both of them have no heart or grit. If I had to pick one, and I do mean HAVE TO HAVE ONE OF THEM IN MY TEAM, then I'd still take Marner over Nylander due to Nylander's "skate away from the corner to avoid being checked". If you have a player like Nylander, making big bucks, just straight up to stop playing and go for a change instead going to the corner, you're done. Nylander's a wuss, Marner as well, but I still consider him less of a wuss.

I’m taking nylander if I need someone to come up clutch

I’m taking Marner in any other situation.

Unless I’m down 3-1 or in a game 7 I’m taking Marner, but in those situations it’s nylander. He steps up in ways Marner just can’t.

Ah yea, playoff stud Nylander who has the fewest points of the three in the playoffs while being a disaster defensively.. he’s the one I’d put my money on too
Ah yes, because point totals over the span of their entire careers totally matters when trying to compare them as of recently, got ya buddy.
But sure, give me the guy that has 6 goals in his last 37 playoffs game and a whooping 5,4% in shooting over the last 5 years, his defense alone is worth 14mil!

Marner>Matthews>Nylander Defensively and Offensively

How’s that PK been in the playoffs? Good?

This is Nylander all day, he has 17 more goals, he’s stronger and he’s got that dog in him that Marner just doesn’t. Pretty surprised by the poll results.
