Post-Game Talk: Oil flooding the infirmary

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
I think they did well to get a point all things considered... no Drai... No McD in the 3rd... Stu Skinner playing like Stu Skinner...

Took the best team in the league to a 3-on-3 circus.

Move on and hopefully heal up over the next few weeks.

Jets held to just 20 shots is a good sign... defense was ok overall... and having to deal with diving Jets and the always questionable reffing... overall a decent game from the Oil.

Do I think the Oilers could beat this Jets team in a 7 game series... well that's another story... but tonight was certainly a helluva lot better than the opening night fiasco.

A big F### you to NHL referees
Another ridiculous thing with the broadcast. 3X Debrusk awarding a "great save" by Skinner and the puck wasn't even on net, shot wide or deflected wide. They have to work so hard each game in the broadcast to create the illusion Skinner is actually doing something. He made basically two stops on real chances whole game and they were both pad stuffs from the wing.

lol on the one jets goal Tanev beats him clean, Skinner shitting on the ice somewhere, tanev has all day to beat him again. Whacked the first one off the post with an open net and Skinner sucking his thumb.

The worst part is absolutely NO ONE watching believes them, yet they still carry on. Oilers fans aren't Vegas fans, we actually understand the game of hockey, you can't lie to us when we watch the games. We aren't stupid.

The jets were horrible in this game. So was Hellbuck. Sleepwalking through the game. you could tell on their PP how lacksadiasical they were but we have Skinner in net so we still lose. Jets had virtually nothing at goal in this game but Skinner keeping them in it all night.
The slash on McD, Ehlers diving, I can’t stand that shit.
Skinner goes without saying at this point and Nuge was a ghost with our top guys out.
