You literally asked when…

Just go away and stop trying to lie. Murphy plays both sides well but you didn’t even know he played that side for the hawks.

Ah, you finally read your own post. Great:laugh::thumbu:

No, he hasn't played the left side well...at least not for the Blackhawks. And he didn't play there a lot either, as somebody else suggested. He got a couple of games in his first season but he was also 7th defender then a couple of times, I believe. Once he settled in, he was always a regular at RD.

Again, I can't fully remember everything about his time in Arizona even though I used to watch a lot more of the Yotes than I do now. I don't think so but it would e possible he did it for the Yotes. He didn't for the Blackhawks. Not even close.

But again. The talk here was about trying to replace Mitchell who got rushed last season when he cleary wasn't ready. Moving Murphy to LD wouldn't solve anything.

I mentioned the thin RD depth last offseason as well and I was right. It resulted in Boqvist and Mitchell playing way too much when they probably should have been in Rockford. RD was thin even before Seabrook went down and he never got replaced either.

But he did play well on the left side. I mean, he wasnt a top 4 Dman, but he was one our better Dmen.

Lol you didnt even know he played the left side, now you'regoing to give your opinion on how well he played there. Comedy.

You believe whatever the f*** you want. I don't give a rats ass but Burger King's claim that Murphy played the left side well is false no matter how you look at it...unless there was something in Arizona of course...but again, I don't think so.

Fact is that Murphy didn't play the left side well as a Blackhawk and I also don't think it was much more than a couple of games. So no, you can't say that he played well and that's probably also part of the reason why he hasn't played LD since and most likely also before. They tried something, it didn't work and they moved on.

Article is behind a paywall so I can't really comment on it.
Just talks about how well he was playing on the left side. Another article said the same thing, and broke down his good advanced stats playing the left side. So yeah, he played well on the left side, just like we have noted.

I know many have questioned this here recently, but in an interview with The Athletic, Seth Jones alludes to having gotten the shot.

“That was the big thing last year,” he said. “It was hard to really get tight as a group. You couldn’t go to dinner, couldn’t do anything away from the rink. Or they didn’t want you to, at least. This year it’ll be a lot easier when you have road dinners, dinners at home, you can hang out with the guys as a group away from the rink. I’m really looking forward to that. That’s when you get a lot tighter as a group, you start hanging out off the ice and really figuring out each other’s personalities and funny things about each other.”

Sounds like someone who won't be dealing with the protocols for unvaccinated players this season.

That’s really good news if it’s true. Even if he only got it because it’s a major inconvenience not to, at least he got it.

Funny how one changes their mind when millions of dollars are on the line

God that line-up is packed! Cant see Reichel playing on opening line up though so id swap him and borgstrom until we get a read on them. Crazy how a player like connolly doesnt even reach into the top 15.
If this team can mesh (and players like nylander, gaudette and borgstrom can thrive) then we have a VERY solid group here

Hawks need to have a quasi-legit idea of what Nylander, Borgstrom and Gaudette can/will bring. Virtually regardless of Reichel's preseason, he'll start out in Rockford. ~20 mpg and playing in all situations is just what the doctor ordered. He'll get used to the smaller ice and, hopefully, thrive. If he does, he'll be called up.

Swap Reichel and Johnson.

And Kane might retire if they pair Nylander with him again.

Kane was literally yelling profanities during the EDM series when Nylander botched several passes.

Yet Kane had great success with Nylander the last few weeks of that season and we know Nylander had an injured knee. It's funny to me it seems all people recall of him was the bubble, it gets ignored how he played good on the 4th line or ended the year with a Strome, Kane, and Nylabder being a strong 2nd line.

Don't stand for the Hawks. Stand for Kyle Beech.

If Nylander plays more than 20 games, Columbus will have a great first rounder. Nylander = waivers.

one of Cat / Kubalik absolutely MUST play with Kane, if not JC needs to be sent to the space station and never return.

Wait are you saying Nylander’s knee was injured during the season? The only report I saw was that he injured it in the offseason
