That's what I would think. MSG generally doesn't even mention speculation of specific players being moved, so if they're moving out McQuaid they call it a minor injury and precautionary reasons.

So we pulled McQuaid as a precaution after we didn’t show any caution not to play him. If he is dinged then he will need to play again to show he’s not really hurt but then could get hurt so maybe we should pull him early again then.

All of this could have been avoided, he is a known commodity.
