I doubt the guy would want to purposely get hurt to stay somewhere instead of having a shot to win a Stanley Cup. Besides, his family can stay here and he can try and resign with one of the 5 teams in the area

Winnipeg and Nashville have excellent farm depth and quality.

With seeing the return that Hayes got, I think that prospects/young players like Roslovic, Niku, Vesalainen, Fabbro, Tolvanen, and Mismash could be in the conversation now.

I've been home the last week sick and seen more hockey than usual.

One thing that I think is a bit unfortunate for us, and that potentially has a lot of impact, is that in principle 3 of the top 4 franchises in the league are really early in their contender cycle.

Life is especially perfect in Toronto and Winnipeg right now. But unless these two teams perform in the POs this is the last honey moon season for them. Now they have all the patience in the world, but if Toronto or Winnipeg looses in the first or second round this year those markets will surely do an 180' over night in. Full court pressure will be on, the leaders ability to "win" will be questioned 24/7, the coaches ability to win will be questioned, the GM will be question.

Its those teams that tends to panic and give up a lot.

Why are you in such a rush to trade Lias? He is a really good prospect. Just because our board doesn't have any patience with prospects doesn't mean he sucks. He's 20 years old.
