Huh?

Thankfully GMs aren't like some of our fans who throw the bust label on a player less than 2 years after being drafted. He absolutely has good value and your crazy to think otherwise.
Im not saying hes a bust,im saying i wouldnt want to trade him unless its for a prospect with similar or even better potential.I would prefer to not trade him at all and see what he develops into.

Maybe Ottawa will flip that first with Stone to Colorado to get that top lotto pick back

and then go into complete Tank mode, dont even show up for games

just to be clear for boston to get kreider they would have to include a guy like mcavoy and add.....they have one of the weakest prospect pools when it comes to teams the rangers would trade with this deadline
Yes, just to be clear....they would obviously have to add, but didnt bother as I decided they wouldnt really be able to match what we would want.......but started with McAvoy, in which they really cannot afford to lose to begin with.

Hate to say it. But that is "unconventional"
Winnipeg and Nashville have excellent farm depth and quality.

With seeing the return that Duchene got, I think that prospects/young players like Roslovic, Niku, Vesalainen, Fabbro, Tolvanen, and Mismash could be in the conversation now for Hayes.

Yet Tolvanen, who performed worse than Lias this season, is considered a serious asset in a trade. Ranger fans are so quick to give up on Lias, yet label Tolvanen as some blue-chip prospect

I highly doubt the Rangers are packaging Andersson anywhere unless they're getting a clear cut above prospect in return. Like Glass or Makar or something. So again, seems very doubtful.

Would be a shame to give up on the kid after barely giving him a chance.
Colorado fans would absolutely laugh at that. As realistic or ignorant as that might be.......would kind of agree. We don't value him that highly here (maybe unfairly) but why would they want to do that trade, with someone they obviously are very high on?
They didn't want to include him on any Hayes deal. Nuff' said.

Now that Duchene has moved it should get the wheels turning on Hayes at the very least.

The fact that they all played yesterday was enough but if it were for showcase purposes because of who was in town, fine.

No excuse to do it again.

At this point would it be best to focus on sending Zucc somewhere while Panarin is seemingly sticking with CBJ for the run and holding onto Hayes until closer to the deadline since he's the best center on the market?

This showcasing thing is just moronic. Like, are GM's really that stupid to make judgements off of one game? Hayes has basically been the same player for the past two years. Zucc is having a great year, but has been a relatively consistent player at his level for 4-5 years. I mean, you know what you're getting.
