Very good deal for Ottawa if Duchene re-signs.
Hate to say it but the most incompetent franchise in hockey might rebuild faster than the Rangers. If Stone goes he's going to bring back a haul as well

I feel like it’d be smart if they still traded both while re-signing Duchene. They could utilize Duchene in Panarin’s spot at 1LW and also get a bunch of assets. They’re not real contenders yet.
Trade was solid though and it’s good they moved Duchene early for us

Wonder if the Islanders are on Mike Hoffman's list of 10 teams. Think he'd fit in nice in that NYI top 6 and he's signed for another year. Lou has alot to work with for the Isles.

Hopefully they go hard after Stone! Wouldnt that really be something. Then what does Boston do? Do they try and get in on Hayes? Do they try and pry away Kreider (a Boston guy as well?) They don't have what we want for him though, not unless they're willing to part with McAvoy........not happening.

If that happens, really puts us in the drivers seat with Nash/Peg vying for Hayes. Zuccha prob going to Calgary.

I wouldnt even have them practice.Can get injured during it just as easily.
That's a bit pricey but I could easily see the Rangers targeting a guy like Milano. Someone who needs a change and a chance elsewhere.

just to be clear for boston to get kreider they would have to include a guy like mcavoy and add.....they have one of the weakest prospect pools when it comes to teams the rangers would trade with this deadline

I highly doubt the Rangers are packaging Andersson anywhere unless they're getting a clear cut above prospect in return. Like Glass or Makar or something. So again, seems very doubtful.
Would be a shame to give up on the kid after barely giving him a chance.
