I agree with Zuc. I don't think they get that much more for Hayes though

Rangers are in line for the 10th overall pick, however Florida and Edmonton have a game at hand on them. You're also looking at Florida, Chicago, Vancouver, and Anaheim who have been on some rolls and have a good chance of passing us

These other teams are better than the Rangers. I see the Rangers falling down to 25th-27th in the coming week

This is why people get mad at returns. Expecting the impossible is not a good idea.

So we want Tampa to win the cup giving us #31 this year, Dallas to make the WCF giving us 28, 29, or 30 this year and winnipeg to lose in the first giving us a pick around 20. Then if Zucc resigns in Dallas we get a first next year as well. Would leave us with 4 first this year including hopefully 1 or 2 for Hughes it Kakko
 
Given the current status and without the trading of McQuaid yet, at the end of this season, the Rangers will have 16 million in cap space, is that correct?

We would also need Calgary to beat Winnipeg for the division title.
 
Jets added arsenal....so now we watch the Flames/Knights/Preds/Sharks ...we could move a few more fellow yet for picks like Names/Smith/Vesey and maybe couple we have not thought had a chance like Staal or Shattenkirk . Geesh....would be great ! Plus we have Belesky in the A .

It would seem Gorton wanted to get Hayes done early so he can concentrate on something else. Whether that's Kreider or one of the other guys with term on their deals is TBD (and I am not questioning what your saying on Kreider, so it's probably him). Gorton has ALWAYS been patient so the fact that Hayes got done early means, at least to me, he has more happening

I feel we deserve luck like that after the bad luck I have watched for 26-1 years.
