lemieux not super talented. kid can finish though and he's kinda tough to play against.

the one positive thing is he is DIFFERENT than what we have now in our top 9. he adds an element we don't have. as long as hes not in a scoring role, hell do well imo. perfect 3rd liner type who can also play the PP net front role.

the 1st will be low but thats the driver in this deal.

no retention too so that's good. overall i grade this a B-

goodbye 13. you were a favorite of mine. would have loved to keep you here.

LOL, condition based on winning the cup...

Hoping it's for another 1st but realistically probably an extra 3rd rounder. Doesn't matter since they get the 31st for TBL winning

And for the record, I'm not against re-signing Hayes. But the devil is in the details.

I continue to remain skeptical about the NMC clause he will demand.

If that comes off the table, or takes a few years to kick-in, I'm willing to consider it.

I think a bit higher than that. Probably will hover around 35-40 points per year in his prime along with 100-150PIM's

He's got more skill than people give him credit for.

If he can be sort of like Lowry is to the Jets, I'm very happy.

At this point I just want a 1st rounder for Hayes, anything more is a bonus. I have zero expectation for Mcquaid & Namestnikov. I don't want to move Kreider.

May have our wish early on deadline day, eh boys? Really wouldn't mind getting the final final on this one with all the other UFA's on the market.
