Brendan Lemieux is a guy you win with and a guy who brings the fight TO THE OPPONENT. Quinn is going to love him. He's 22 and has 11 points in 44 games this season but last year as a 21/22 year old int he AHL he had 43 points in 51 games played along with 170 PIM's. this is the type of player that is HARD to find in today's NHL and he is going to grow with this roster moving forward. I am beyond pleased with this for a rental

He's wrong right off the bat. Kreider is a better player than Hayes, a rebuilding team doesn't need to replace a middle 6 forward the second they trade him and re-signing is always an option in theory.

Nobody is arguing Kreider isn't a better player than Hayes... He's got a much bigger role here on this team and is a better player who plays tougher minutes.

Sounds like this deal is going down.

Big center with size. Passing is his biggest strength and he controls the puck well in the corners and off the rush. Doesn't have great top-end speed but skates well enough. Biggest asset is his two-way game. He's become a top penalty killer in the last two seasons and is very, very dependable. He'll be a great fit for the Jets.

Laine has a history of not always seeing eye to eye with his coaches.

From someone kinda plugged into the Jets, paraphrased - you can't talk to him,you have to go through his managers and agents. Kind of a headcase.

Both Chytil and Andersson are going to be wings. Either Turcotte or Cozens will be the 2nd line center.
