When I see what an extended Stone returned, I am glad we didn't trade Kreider.

Gorts gets a big fat A- from me.

He managed to get one of two non conditional first rounders. He got a guy in Lemieux that really excites me.

When I see what Simmonds went for, I am glad that he pulled the trigger when he did and traded Zucc.

We got more for McQuaid than we paid for him (at least Bergman is somewhat young).

We own the 7th round of this years draft.

We have two guaranteed 1sts with a somewhat likely chance of three, an unlikely shot at four, and a very, very, very unlikely shot at five.

:dunno: This guy is happy. Would I have liked more? Always. But seeing what other pieces went for, I think JG did the best job he could.

Toronto sits on its hands again. If I had the top-end talent they do, I’d be loading up every year. What are they waiting for.

As one of those who thinks the writing is on the wall so to speak concerning what I see as two pending unfavorable options with Kreider, I am not one who thinks there was likely an acceptable deal out there given everything else that went down.

Yep... A-/B+ is a grade for meeting expectations.

Didn’t we get like a Navy SEAL helicopter to bring Brassard over before puck drop the afternoon we traded for him

No excuses. Will to win. Buy war bonds
That was Ryane Clowe.

We ripped a hole in time itself to get Brassard into that game.

The hole is located in Ottawa. Dolan is still making payments on it.

At this point I'd like for this team to have just a horrendous rest of the season, and somehow get in the top 5 of this draft.

And then pray Dallas makes it to the WCF and Tampa wins it all

I'm glad we got Lemieux over Petan. He barely fetched a 4th liner from Toronto. I am sure that's what Chevy was offering along with the first

 Yeah... well, I mean the Rangers don't play until Wednesday and aren't trying to make a push. No need to rush here.

Except for the Tampa one its gonna require lots of praying

Rutherford has lost it lately in Pittsburgh. Now they have Jack Johnson and Gudbranson.

Also they just traded for Wideman from Florida WTF.

It would be hilarious if Dallas draws the crossover wild card... runs to the WCF and plays WPG... loses... WPG had more points than whoever comes out of the Metro in the ECF. TB beats the Metro winner then beats the Jets.

We'd have picks 29/30/31
