I get hoping for one more piece, but you can't be upset at JBB if it doesn't happen. We're talking about getting another Perbix, or Pat Maroon. And I wouldn't be opposed to either, but if it doesn't happen, I don't know how anyone can say JBB didn't improve the team greatly, all the while holding onto our three best prospects. I would have been fine with moving them too. But we improved the team without it.

This was a great TDL for us.

Oh no it absolutely was. We had arguably the best one. I just hope we got shocked at the end is all. But then again I'm all about next season anyway. Like if we crap out in round 2 I don't think I'm gonna bang my head too hard. This is the deepest the Lightning have been in years -and I'm also referring to even having prospects worth mentioning like Howard and Geekie

Edit: sorry. Arguably one of the best TDL's in only trading 1sts and getting 2 quality players and getting Detroit to play along. It was a master class in asset management

Derrick Pouliot has 200+ NHL games, and he's in Syracuse. He played in the NHL last season (5 games with Dallas).

We do have some experienced depth (a notable amount of recent NHL games), but I'd have liked to get that little bit more.

Seth Jones also..... they also get Tkachuk back in the playoffs too, that's 2 top-6 players and a top-4 defenseman. Crazy adds from Florida, minimal from TO but they already have a loaded roster.
