I'm a nit-picker, and that's even a little too nitty for me. Granted, I don't know the entire context, but was it clearly focusing on a whole bunch of Kessel clips, with a random Hornqvist in there? Then, yeah, that's stupid. But if it was a Sharks vs Pens motif with the Joe/Phil thing thrown in, then meh. Maybe Skippy the Intern cued the tape a few seconds too late or too early.

I'd be more upset because I'm guessing the baseball:basketball:hockey ratio was probably like 60:25:15. Yes, the Sox are the only local team playing, and they'll dominate. But the NBA is on your station, so show some corporate synergy. And hockey is playing the Stanley Cup! For nitwit baseball broadcasters, that's like the World Series, but not boring.

For the record, they showed Joe Thornton, then they showed Hornqvist, with Lynchie saying he was Kessel. Just bugs me I guess.

I cut the cord a couple years ago. The only thing I watched was sports and my wife watched Bravo. So it wasn't worth the cost for me, especially since NESN and ESPN are garbage. I have 2 little kids so watching more than 15 minutes of TV at a time is rare. And when I do want to watch sports and VPN tool in my chrome browser allows me access to a lot.
But really, I've decided that not having to hear the Real Housewives of who cares was more than enough of a benefit to cut the cord.

I can not believe that Channel 4's Steve Burton actually said on the air he was a friend of Muhammad Ali :amazed:

anything that gives Charlie Moore awards and adulation has no credibility

I would love to fish with Charlie Moore just to go back to his house and eat, drink, and hit up that play room.

Quality of Behind the B has gone downhill, so I'd agree that the award is...an "interesting" choice. Granted, the first season was good, when we got the Horton flight, the Seguin trade, and Scott Bradley in granny glasses, all in 4 glorious minutes.

I actually tried watching "Bruins Academy" - I know I'm not the audience, but oh my GOD do I want to rip my ears out when I hear Charlie Moore. They seem to have stopped those weird, dada-esque Saturday-morning-spoof cartoons, and even wiped the first one ("Space Camp") off the web.

D&C (+Kirk) are such haters because they didn't anoint him as the second coming, despite mentioning the great qualities that he had, right?!

That and pointing out everyone in the media trying to one up each other on how they were some how connected to Ali. Steven A. Smith claim he remembers watching Ali fight on TV when he was 3 years old. No friggin way.
