That was back in April so I don't that is the person someone is referring.

Sorry, I normally don't watch ESPN, but was forced due to the euro soccer games. She was hosting in between matches. Believe me, it was killing me that I have to watch this channel for this.

This actually explains why the Bruins sucked last season. Charlie Jacobs & Cam Neely were too busy executive producing tv shows to pay attention to their hockey team :rant::rant::rant::rant:

Felger just said Shattenkirk is too old and "on the back nine". I have no idea what player he thinks Kevin Shattenkirk is, but I had to turn it off immediately. So bad.

As the years go by, I have no idea why people take seriously what that show says.
The phrase "Low information voter" translates well here. I equate it to "Low information sports fan."
If you know your ****, you know they are just putting on a show.
I have heard many loose facts from Felger. "Local kid Bobby Ryan."
I hear people say Mazz knows baseball. I have heard him say many times " I didn't see the game, but...." Two years ago he didn't know the name of the Yankees closer. Talked about the great Joe Maddon and how the Rays had a better record than the Sox over a 3 year period. Wouldn't acknowledge the Sox World Series in 13.
Yeah, I still tune in. Liked them both before 98.5. Stilll like when I tune in and they are having a real discussion. Once it turns in to "You", "Bo-Bo" and "Green Teamers" they lose me.

Big media news for our Canadian readers

Ron MacLean to replace Strombo on Hockey Night in Canada

George Stroumboulopoulos won’t return as host of Hockey Night in Canada next season, sources tell the Star.

His replacement will be the man he replaced. Industry insiders say Ron MacLean is expected to return to the show’s No. 1 seat just two seasons after Stroumboulopoulos was hired with much fanfare in the wake of Rogers’ $5.2-billion acquisition of NHL broadcasting rights. Prior to that, MacLean occupied the job from 1986 until 2014. Since then, he has hosted Sunday night Hometown Hockey broadcasts and worked Saturdays alongside Don Cherry on Coach’s Corner. It’s expected he will continue those roles in addition to resuming the main HNIC hosting gig — the highest-profile position in Canadian sports broadcasting.

Never should have replaced him in the first place. We are talking about a broadcast company that couldn't even hold on to age old theme song. Down right pathetic.

Not sure if this is the right place, but does anyone else think that NESN needs to hire a new crew to design the graphics on their broadcasts? The new baseball scoreboard seems very amateurish like it was designed on Microsoft Paint. I compare it to CSNNE, YES Network, ESPN, and Fox Sports graphic package... and it just doesn't compare.

We have an ongoing thread about NESN production

That said - their latest upgrade last week is easily three years behind anybody else. The grunts at NESN know this but Tom Wener thinks they are fine.

I wish the Bruins and NESN would embrace the old TV38 theme but they don't want to play the music license fee to do so.

If you are 45 or older this music meant Bruins.....

And that's the reason they don't beyond the money.

But Twitter polls about the best movie set in Canada....that'll bring in the kids.
