This sounds like it's an example of horrific goaltending. While the score was 10-0 the Crunch actually outshot the Flames 29-27. Syracuse had 5 PP opportunities to just 2 for the Flames. The Latvian Olympic star goaltender started and allowed 4 goals on 13 shots in less than 28 minutes of play.

Ferland has slipped on the depth chart in ADK with his play. This is more or less what I had been trying to warn people about with him. He was useless for as much as he was productive last season.

I knew I saw good leadership qualities in Elson before the season started. He was my prediction for captain before we landed Yonkman... Looks like the coaching staff agreed giving him an A!

Glad to see Baertschi and Poirier putting up points! I just really want Baertschi to succeed.

The baby Flames look to have caught whatever is running through the big club.

The Flames are trailing 5-4 after 40 minutes. The shots are currently 38-19 in favor of Rochester.

The Flames fell behind 22 seconds into the game, then scored 3 goals in just over 4 minutes. Only to allow Rochester to tie the game before the end of the 1st.

Then in the 2nd period the Flames took the lead again (4-3), and not only let the Ameriks tie it up, but take the lead to head into the 3rd; all in the final 5 minutes of the period.

Markus Granlund appears to be having a rough noght as he has been on the ice for 4 of the 5 goals against.



oh and to top it off ADK is starting the 3rd with a 5 on 3 PK.

The crossbar just stop the Ameriks from taking a 6-4 lead. But immediately after the Flames go back to the PK, the 7th time they have been short handed tonight.
