So in the EHM 2024 NHL draft...
Flyers picked up:
#10: Cayden Lindstrom
#18: Aron Kiviharju
#31: Liam Greentree
#35: Cole Hutson
#46: Matvei Shuravin
#63: Lucas Pettersson
#74: Noel Fransen
#87: Hjalte Kruse Thomsen
#99: Ivan Kornilov
#102: Nolan Ling
#106: Svante Sjodin

though naturally it is a stupid game and quite frankly even with updates and some tinkering... after round ~3-4 gets wacky. For example Owen Berge and Jake English are solid in game when will never be drafted. Zether and Jecho will go top 100 in real life too. Though first ~80 picks or so were not a million miles away I guess.
Would be very happy with those first 3 rounds in real life lmao.

if this happens, then Celebrini will suddenly turn up on the Epstein flight list, Silayev will be patient zero for a newly discovered strain of SuperCovid that shuts down the world again, and Demidov will decide that he doesn't like hockey anymore and instead wants to become... i dunno, a competitive Fortnite player, or something.
I'm not really sure which of these is the saddest fate btw.

Dickinson plus Miettinen should be every Flyers fans wet dream. Parekh, Boisvert and Basha on top?

I mean... that would be a great draft considering that:
Dickinson will go top ~5
Parekh will go top ~12
Miettinen will probably go late 2nd.
Boisvert will probably be in back-end of 1st.
Basha will probably be in back-end of 1st.
Freij will be gone before ~50!

Parekh spat in the faces of two different players last game vs Kingston... including an ex-team-mate... got kicked from the game for it. Interesting to see if will be banned for a few games. League probably waiting until after top prospects game was over to decide aha.

Panthers first rounder - RHD Charlie Elick
Blue Jackets seond rounder (if not defered to 2025) - LHD Luke Ashton
Flyers second rounder - LW/C Julius Miettinen

I would think that there would be better players with both 1st round picks aha. Don't dislike either but I don't think either are going to be 1st line/1st pairing guys.
And Luke Ashton the BCHL overager? He won't be an NHLer barring the most unprecedented development ever.
Would be happy enough with Miettinen there.

I know, I had just read the Smaht prelim rankings and all these guys are top picks available late. Hopefully their lists will be better, or they'll at least offer McKenzie's '24 list!
