Official 2023 Anti-Leafs Thread

You obviously care about this so are you an insecure Sens fan?. Or is this just one of those things where fans are harmlessly fanning and you’re sitting like a wallflower pretending to be better then the rest of the sports world.

Sens fans aren’t watching the playoffs at an afternoon Strawberry’s and cream Lawn party at Ashbury college with a bunch of manners experts? Why so proper?

I do get joy out of watching the Leafs fail, like I got joy from watching McGratton pound in Domis face, Chara throwing McCabe around. If you don’t get joy out of it, you’re following the wrong sport

I think my point flew over your head. This has nothing to do with not liking the leafs, it's about dedicating a thread specifically to one team when you already have a playoff thread. As several others have pointed out, it is cringe af and looks like high school shit. The term 'rent-free' applies to people who need threads like this.

If there’s enough hate for 2 threads, so be it. Harmless fun. Nobody is losing anything here and nothing is being taken away. It’s just a fun sports rivalry - a good thing.

Happy for that. Big hugs to Leafs nation. Very sensitive fanbase because Nylander won’t go to the net and they are dying for a Cup and the fans would happily take any physical punishment to make it happen but they are left screaming at their TV’s that Nylander isn’t a real hockey player - and they are right. So big hugs to them. Tough times watching your team wilt in the face of the Cup and not try to score when they have open ice to the goalie.

I said I wasn’t insecure regarding the leafs. that’s why this thread is useless. not my fault you feel insecure over the leafs, enjoy that feeling though.

pretty much this, its all playful fun in my view. Its fun to be haters sometimes especially since we don't have our own team to watch.

No other fan base does this, why should the Sens.
 
I can definitely relate to hating the opponent, especially after a playoff series loss. I can't imagine doing this sports fan thing any other way personally.

Hopefully one day we can be that opponent and get our revenge for the last games that mattered against them in 2004.
