McCann for me if it's between the two. He's on a different tier from Bleakley. Bleakley has the size, but McCann has the smarts and skill over Bleakley.

Agreed, although McCann has been rumored to be a capable bust (which I don't believe in). McCann is solid over Bleakley. Bleackley is also a very good talent, though.

USA-Switzerland just started the 2nd period. USA is up 2-1.

Milano-Eichel-Tuch Jesus Christ, and Hanafin on the back end.

Boston College is going to be super dominant again. Milano reminds me of Cammaleri. He's from Massapequa and heading to BC.

I take him over HoSang. If Honka, Kempe and Tuch are gone, I would avoid HoSang and go with the local kid.

I don't see him lasting. In fact, Ho-Sang is probably the one who falls to the Rangers. Milano's a bigger, more physical Ho-Sang with a more diversified offensive portfolio than JHS.

Is it me or does anyone else think that Ho-Sang will bust?

I do. Dont buy into the hype. Watched several games of his after reading about him. Reminds me of Kristo. Puck hog extraordinaire. If we didn't already have smaller guys like Duclair then maybe I'd be sold, but they need a big center - either a poor man's Johanssen or Dubinsky 2.0

Hopefully they make the SCF and this becomes Tampas problem to figure out.

duclair isnt small. average NHL height and when hes a man will probably have a thick build.

Agreed on the Ho-Sang analysis. Would definitely like some of Tuch, but Duclair isn't that tiny. Eliteprospects has him at 5'11"/176lbs and he'll likely add muscle in due time.

We need more euro's on this team, if we could trade up to the 10-12th pick to grab Nikolaj Ehlers without giving up a ton that'd be awesome :handclap:.

I wouldn't expect him to be there at 10, especially not at 12. You never know though.

And as I mentioned before, you guys drafted his dad in 84'.

Ehlers will be taken around 5-10. No way he's there at 12. I agree with getting more Euros, but if we're trading up I'd want Virtanen or Ritchie.

the only thing I like about Ho-Sang so far is his name. It's like 7 years ago when I really wanted Paul Ranger as a Ranger, except Ranger was decent 7 years ago.

I am going to pass off the draft day thread(s) duties this year for good. I just don't have the time to do enough research on these picks and all. I've pretty much decided to give the job to aufheben if he wants it.

Although I'd like Bluenote to give some input on this as well if he wants to. I need to PM him.

I plan on attending this years draft, but I'm also supposed to be at work that weekend, so I'll try and give live updates when /if I'm there

Assuming we still have the pick, I like Dylan Larkin.

My biggest question is his offensive upside. I don't believe he has top end scoring potential, but I think he has a shot to be a useful, well-rounded player.

So it is written, so shall it be done.
