The other day it was 50 F and sunny in Milwaukee. Today, we have 5 inches of snow so far. Band of snow #2 is just arriving. It will probably bring another 3 inches of snow. "False" Springtime in the Midwest. My lilacs have buds all over them and I have a few flowers, day lilies and crocuses, starting to push up out of the ground.
Since I have lived in Wisconsin I have been snowed on every month except June, July and August. These late season wet, heavy snows are the worst! Some people in my neighborhood have lost power. My old phone line was sagged down so far that I was able to reach up and knock snow off of it. We have been here 37 years and that is a first!

The grandparents of one of the little girls that died goes to my church. I know the girl's aunt, we were in sunday school class together from elementary thru high school. They are such a loving, close-knit family. I just can't even imagine what they are going through.

MNP Captain over south is a Blackman baseball parent. He was on scene, he sat with me last night, the stories are unbelievable and have changed my stance on some things.

Stuff like this happens and I'm kind of glad my brother has been decommissioned and sitting at home for the last several months. The body cam footage is wild and I'm happy to know that the Nashville guys did it right, but its rough on families nerves.

Also T Swift at least was actually somewhat of a hockey fan. Used to date a guy who played for HHS right before she became super famous.
