One of my kids is the chief of staff at Deloitte and the other works for some animation house where he is knocking it out.

Y'all, we did our jobs! I'm so happy for us.

Then some of us started over, lol.

This doesnt sound good...
Normally I'd just write off Lincoln Countians as being whiney (I'm from Lewisburg...we have history) but yeah, they're right. The company does need to get a filtration system to areas where they've built barrel houses ASAP. That's been going on since 2018. The company already knew there was a problem and built more -- and apparently not even in their own town -- so the Jack Daniels organization needs to fix it.

This doesnt sound good...
Okay, I went back to re-read to confirm something before I posted and now it won't let me just post the answer without adding in the original post again.

Things that will make Volde go, 'What the f*** are you thinking!??!?!?'

I had my MS infusion today. With that I take Xanax and Benadryl for the side effects. I have done this for half a year now....Here's the problem. I took them on an empty stomach. Legs, very wobbly, brain matter vaporized to a cloud. Got home safely but eat everything I could get my hands on.

NOW I understand the dangers of recreational drugs!

The hunger is real. Back in the day (70's? Yesterday? I'll never tell) I was partial to Krispy Kremes and Squeeze cheese. Not together. ;-)

I ate 1lb pf salmon, (cooked) Brown rice, and chugged 32 ounces of fluid in one sitting, plus British Tea biscuits, plus mini whoopie pies.

I just can't anymore. We have supported them every year and the lineups got worse, less variety and fewer artists, starting last year while the ticket cost went up. Though I would agree that this line up is solid in comparison to last year. We're sitting this one out unless we decide to buy a wristband from a desperate seller the week of the show.

This just reflects my own personal opinion based on their pivot from their roots of a more rock/americana/country to mainly americana/country. It really bit us last year because we always buy early bird. Did so last year when they basically changed their format without warning and never increased the price vs. early bird so felt pretty screwed by that.

Some previous year top artist examples:

2022: Brandi Carlisle/Chris Stapleton
2021: Dave Mathews Band/Black Keys/Maren Morris/Cage the Elephant
2019: Foo Fighters/The Killers/Keith Urban
2018: Jack White/Chris Stapleton/Lionel Richie/Dave&Tim (this show got canceled middle of first day due to crazy thunderstorms)
2017: Justin Timberlake/Eddie Vedder (top line dropped a bit here BUT the next level of artists were really good)
etc.

Again our main gripe has been the format change without warning, the reduced number of artists, and increased cost. But hey it's one of the richest areas of the country. I'm sure they'd pay for basically anything.

Just look at the posters from previous years if you want to see what I mean by the reduced artist count. It's crazy.

Wow was Preds Twitter a mess yesterday. Yikes.
I saw something regarding drama on Preds twitter yesterday. Started digging around trying to find anything about what it was. Took me a while but I finally figured out that I had blocked the majority of the drama queens a long time ago so I never saw it.

I don't guess I've ever paid close enough attention to who's saying what and when on there. Par for the course for me, ha!

If someone pops up more than once or twice on my feed with nonsensical BS, I block them. Several advanced analytics “gurus” got blocked pretty quickly. Others were just wing nuts looking for attention.
