Ottawa, win or lose, take a couple pounds of flesh and one of Florida/Tampa will KO Leafs in 2nd round if need be.

Hoping Ottawa can upset the Leafs and fans get a well deserved Ottawa/Florida Tkachuk-bowl.
Leafs fanbase don't really deserve to see their team get past round 1 anyhow.

Guys, can we chill on the hate tonight and give our energy to the Carolina Hurricanes?

Battle of Ontario AND Battle of Tkachuks in the same playoffs???

You must be a weirdo if you don’t want that.

They do have a lot more playoff experience in terms of total games played.

And that's fine, I would hope they do at this point.
Yeah but cup winners and guys who have been on deep playoff runs? Not really. Most of their playoff experience is getting knocked off in the first round.

Sens players who have a cup or played in a SCF: Amadio, Cousins, Giroux, Perron (twice).

Leafs players who have a cup or played in a SCF: Carlo, Ekman-Larsson, Lorentz

Pardon my ignorance but who on the Leafs has a cup lol

Someone already pointed out the 3 former Panthers (forgot Stolarz), but also Berube behind the bench has actually won before and knows how to coach a playoff series. Then you have guys who have been sought after parts of contenders defense for their entire careers like Tanev and Carlo who both have plenty of experience in physical deep playoff runs.

Up front, their core players have only 1 series win but tons of playoff games against very physical teams who played them as hard as they could. They have guys like Domi and Haakanpaa who went deep with Dallas and had outstanding runs.

The Senators have... Giroux, Perron, Hamonic as experienced guys? Only Perron with a cup. Meanwhile Travis Green only playoff coaching experience was in the covid bubble which is not even applicable.

Amadio won a cup and was instrumental in the victory with Vegas.

SNES was the greatest game console of all time, full stop

It really was special man, and it aged incredibly well. Unlike other Nintendo consoles, which were revolutionary but aren't as fun to go back to(N64 and Wii).

Just thinking about Super Nintendo, it's insane what they were able to accomplish. If the PS1 didn't remake most of those iconic JRPGs it would be even higher in history.

Anyways, Sens suck and stuff.

How dare you forget Nick Cousins, who’s played more playoff games than most of your core 4

This! Call me sadistic, but I'd love to see MTL eliminated at the last minute.

Same man lol, the only Habs fan though I don't want to see upset is my neighbour. He's a legit good dude, and when the Leafs lost to the Habs in the playoffs he still took the win with class...something I am not capable of :p

Cousins and Amadio have won cups as well for the Sens.

Funny you mock Green's playoff coaching experience, because it's the same year you would have to use to describe Tanev as having "experience in physical deep playoff runs".

Ok fair I missed him, but no one is scared of Amadio. This guy is a former Leaf, we waived him. He's no different than an Adam Gaudette type who found himself in better situations.
Not a terrifying piece, but he’s been a key part of our 3rd line that has been shutting down some top lines in the past couple months.

For a guy that spends countless hours around here you really arent very familiar with other teams. Less typing more watching hockey and maybe you can come back with some sort of tangible contribution to the discussion.

Amadio had 5 goals in that Stanley Cup run, which is just as many as Matthews, Marner, Nylander, or Tavares have ever gotten in a single playoff season. You'd think one of those guys would've been able to outscore Amadio in a single playoff season, but nope.

Nah man, Amadio is exactly the type of player that can be a thorn in your side when he goes against your bottom 6.

He was a big contributor in the Vegas cup win for his role.
