I just declined the option to pre-order this season's retro reverse gamers. $1250 for Smith or Lauzon was a bit more than I was willing to cough up.
They do look pretty good in person. I saw one up close last night first time. Not a gamer type, just normal off the rack jersey. But something interesting for anyone who collects jerseys ... guy who bought one last night was showing me how the little NHL crest on front links to NFT via your phone ... virtual stuff (only way I know to describe it). He said he was told that only the ones from the arena had this feature.

We went to State Fair Park to the annual Holiday Folk Faire for ethnic food and dancing. It has been maybe 5 years since we made that event. On the way I saw a gas station for $3.05 and screeched in to fill my tank. I have no idea where that price in West Allis came from. Ten days ago, I filled up for $3.39 at Sam's Club. Did oil prices crash and I missed the news?

No just good timing. Look for prices to jump up on Monday.

I think 93 octane was just above $2.00 a gallon in November '20.

That's our goal. Let's get all octanes to those numbers. You know 87 and 89 were cheaper than that.

If only we had some untapped energy resources that could be opened up to help increase production

Happy Thanksgiving weekend! We had our big meal yesterday and it was grand. Good company (17 of us!), getting to know the almost 2 year old grand nephew a bit more, and renewing family ties.

Had planned to go to the game today and am sad it was postponed from the water main break. That said, it probably a good thing that the building was empty rather than there be 17,000 fans having to be herded out after it happened. Yet another thing to be thankful for. Hope they can get the mess cleaned up quickly, but from what I'm seeing I doubt seriously there will be a game tomorrow. They might surprise me, though.

Saturday's game postponed now too!! Must be a real mess!!
Pictures I have seen look pretty soggy. At this point I'm not anticipating a home game Tuesday night, either.
Guy who sits in front of me texted me Friday morning with the news. Good thing he did. I'm not really good about watching the news so I'd have probably driven there for the 1PM game.

Just curious, since I have not been to a game yet this year, I hope to, do the boards have any advertising? I notice that there appears to be one Smile ad actually painted on the ice behind the nets and between the blue lines the ads don't change so wondered if for the CG ads have a blank space on the boards or if there are painted ads in the arena on the boards.

They do. The way you can tell is that the CG ads only show up for the overhead camera; closeup cameras show the ads that are actually physically present.

You better prepare your eyes Finder. You're going to get bombarded with print and digital ads from all directions as spon as you enter the arena. It's a feature.
