Black text on a white rectangle on a field of dark navy really pops

It's crazy that places like Murfreesboro, Brentwood and Shelbyville got so much snow, meanwhile in Hendersonville we barely got a dusting.
That's alright round 2 is about to hit. The forecast is all over the place. I'm seeing some places say the Shelbyville area is looking at mostly rain while others are saying we could get up to 6 inches. So hold on to your butt.

I'm going to have trouble reading those new tags. I am keeping my Preds tag, too. Wonder if they're going to change them again any time soon. I like this one because it's a number I can remember (for reasons only I know but that's how my brain works)

How much snow did y'all get?
It's always weird to me when there is snow to the south of me but none here..

That is sort of what happened to Milwaukee.

First the prediction was 4 - 6", then up to 9". We got 3-4" over 12 hours and Chicago got our 9".

We get lake effect snow when a Lo goes over Chicago from west to east. If it goes over Indy, we can get nothing.

It is 16 F but we had 45 mph winds today. Ouch! We had some snow flurries today.

More coming today. Initially on Monday called for up to 1", then Tuesday 1-2", then Yesterday 2-3"... Last update this morning before the event begins was 3-5"

This one is gonna get us too. Was 1 to 3 now predicting 4 to 5. School already cancelled.

This is going to be the first big snow that my little girl will remember. Shes excited.

But its gonna be so cold that I dont think the kids will be able to get out and enjoy it.

Forecast here is just a matter of what station or site you look at. Some say 1-3, some 2-4, and saw another that said 7 is possible. Oh and another that said 1/4 inch ice.

Take your pick.

The snow will def be variable. I think the ice is possible in all snow scenarios. Not like ice storm falling from the sky to the amount of 1/4" but just any melt eventually turning to ice. Like we always enjoy.

So my stepson has a flight out of BNA tomorrow morning. Hope to goodness the interstates are clear because he will have to be on the road at 4am.

We've had freezing rain most of the day. Ugly and not fun.

Just got a text from work and they are closing the facility for tonight. Been stressing all day about how fun it was going to be getting from Shelbyville to Franklin and then getting back in the morning.

Looks to be about 3" up here but the wind coming off the Ohio is brutal. 21 right now and calling for 10 this evening. Guess we will see how poorly insulated this 125 year old rental is!

8 inches on the deck railings but probably 5-6 inches regular depth. It hasn't actually stopped at my house yet, though. 22 degrees and falling.

CBS News just said that Nashville received 8 inches. My guess is that was at the airport.

Take care all y'all in the Music City area!

Yeah I read I-40 is basically the dividing line. So different parts of the greater Nashville area have pretty different experiences. It’s typical but I always find it interesting.

I live north of I-40 and very near the airport (Hermitage) so heck it could be that high. It does appear to have stopped.

I rarely hope for a delayed flight but if nothing changes my wife and stepson will head out around 4am to get to the airport. Those that are so inclined, say a little prayer, please and thank you.

I'd definitely check before you leave. Going in that early I'm not sure if they will know yet, but might get lucky so they don't take risk they don't need too. I know they cancelled a ton of flights today.

Southwest is good about texting when delays happen. We got about 4 hours notice on our flight to Orlando last month.

We got all the snow today that we didn't get earlier in the week.

My car and patio table had about 6 inches, the driveway had 4. The front yard had about 7 inches, yet the back yard measured about 5, lol.

Everything has definitely started it's turn to ice. Where it was all fluffy this afternoon is all hard and crunchy now.

I looked outside one time and there were all these animal tracks all over the patio, driveway, and even up on the front porch. About an hour later they were completely gone! I walked around a bit and even my footprints were covered in about an hour!

Turned on my Christmas lights and everything looks so super pretty! It's funny seeing the lights under the snow.
