Kirk, Orelvis and Pearson are doing well showcasing as potential trade pieces.

I think there's just way too much smoke regarding the Guardians and Ramirez for a trade not to get done. The fact that they have scouts at our training facility taking video of Kirk plus more just tells me that, it's not a matter of if, but when a trade happens. It's more about what the package will be now and clearly the Guardians are interested in Kirk.

Three quick thoughts:

1. I know Canadian and US viewership is calculated differently, but 450,000 is more than double the average Yankees regular season game from last year (the highest of the US teams).

2. Remember how every year Rogers says we can't watch spring games because it's not worth it for them?

3. Ugh. Rogers is bringing in and absolutely absurd amount of money on the Jays. At least spend to the Luxury Tax, you dicks!

How do y'all feel about Conforto? He's not great defensively, but the bat in a platoon role would work. It would also mean Gurriel would be gone and you'd keep Grichuk as the 4th outfielder. Run an outfield of Monforto, Springer, Teo and Grichuk is the relief/platoon against lefties. I'm sure Cleveland wants Gurriel as well, as if was rumored in Ramirez trade possibilities.

I'd sign him in a heartbeat but it's rumoured that he's not vaccinated which would make it a no go obviously.

If he was vaccinated he would be the perfect fit. But he's not so a player that could only play in less than half our games with the current rules in Canada and New York is pretty useless to us.
