Agree. Thats betterPsh, given what they just traded for Chapman, Cleveland can take Pardinho, Kloffenstein, and Leo Jimenez and like it.

exactly, he saw an opening at jumped. you gotta respect it.If Robbie Ray isn't using that mojo anymore someone might as well benefit from it.
Fitz Stadler will be interesting to watch

Katoh finds great fit in Blue Jays, Ray's pants
DUNEDIN, Fla. -- Back in mid-December, with the MLB lockout still in its early days, Gosuke Katoh’s name trickled along the transaction wire, signed to a Minor League deal by the Blue Jays. Katoh was his own best publicist out of the gates, tweeting out a video of Munenori Kawasaki’swww.mlb.com
EDIT: the story confirms something: They really are Ray's pants. It's not just that he's wearing his own pants in a tight cut, he literally took leftover pairs from Robbie and is wearing those.![]()
As a non-roster guy, he started ST on timeShould he even have gone more then 2 inning this soon? And then the first walk?
Yeah was thinking that after too. But thanks for the reminder. As a non-roster guy, he started ST on time
I don't see what the point in rushing Martinez up when you can just see how the platoon works and if it isn't working potentially call him up at that point if he is mashing in the minors? Seems kind of reactionary to do anything different and I firmly think Biggio being a utility guy should be a dead idea at this point.I wouldn’t be against putting Martinez at 2nd to start the season and freeing up Biggio in trade for other reinforcements. At least try him out for the first few games to see how he does.
I’m not against Biggio being that lefty bat that plays everywhere in OF and INF. Solid bench piece and if it doesn’t work with Martinez you go back to the platoon of Biggio and Espinal there.

Orelvis topped out last year playing less than 30 games in Vancouver. I wouldn't jump him from high-A to MLB directly. Start him in Vancouver or New Hampshire and if he rockets up through the minors and can make the MLB roster by mid-season, cool. If he has a hiccup as he climbs the ladder and needs to sort things out, better it gets found there instead of him imploding at the big league level. I think there's a way to be aggressive with his path without rushing him.
I was wholly unaware that Seattle made the playoffs last season.Commentators: “Jays signed kikuchi out of Japan….or Seattle rather. 36 mil was a bit of a stretch considering how he pitched at the end of the year and couldn’t make their playoff roster “
