Today was an example of why I'm nervous about JRam.

1) His splits are even (so he doesn't incentive putting a LHP on the mound)

2) The ask involved 2 top prospects plus (one ranking had both top 25 overall).

Otoh, JRam is JRam. Add Toronto's lineup around him and the only thing stopping him from winning MVP is his teammates :)

I know he’s been banned from baseball but Alomar should be number 2. The rest of this list, yikes.

Joe Carter has no place on a best list.

I'd have Fernandez 1, Roy 2, Stieb 3, Delgado 4, Alomar 5, Joey Bats 6, Key 7, JD 8, VDub 9, Hentgen 10

To me, Carter is 9th or 10th. Simply because the two of the most iconic franchise moments have him in it.

1. Stieb 2. Alomar 3. Fernandez 4. Halladay 5. Bell 6. Bautista 7. Delgado 8. Key 9. Whitt 10. Carter. Then you have Barfield and Edwin where I can be swayed that they belong over Whitt.

Any Blue Jays player from the Nostalgia years are always going to be overrated by the Baby Boomers who have no idea what good players are beyond big moments that made them franchise Icons (Like Joe Carter)

Long time Jay that gave them stability in their formative years. But I mean, if you’re gonna vote the best Jays of all-time based on awards, I can see why Donaldson is on a list over him. My list is by importance to the franchise.
I hear you bro. I thought it was the 10 best jays all time. But he definitely may be in the 10 most popular. Like Jessie.

Or maybe Rick Bosetti and his patented basket catch.

Al Woods anyone?

And Zoomers are people that would say Roger Clemens would be the third best player of all-time for the Blue Jays, because he won 2 Cy Youngs in his 2 seasons with the Jays. And why Vladdy is the 8th best Jay of all-time.

If you think being a consistent .300 30/100/25/25 (HR, RBI, D, SB) is a bad thing, then I dunno what to tell you. It was equal to a .240 40/110/20/20 guy now.

Just read an article about Teoscar. Not saying he's JRam but........

"Blue Jays fans who spent the last few weeks pining for the team to trade for Jose Ramirez might not realize they already have a player producing Ramirez-esque numbers standing in right field." Stats in attachment.

Just got me thinking. He has one more arb year. What does the future hold for him?

All because of his homerun. I’d honorable mention Henke as well. I’d have Olerud in over JD.

Closest comp right now would be Castellanos who just signed for 5/100. If Teo puts up another ~4 war campaign this season that might honestly rise to Springer money (but idk if he get more than 5 years).

That top ten list is basically just an ad for Bodog. Things like that are designed to be controversial, so that people will post and repost, tweet and retweet it so that the Bodog name is spread.

But to be honest, any list like this without any explanation of the criteria used to generate it is pretty useless.

The bluejays apparently had offers out to joc pederson, brad miller and dickerson but they signed elsewhere. No big losses. But clearly they are trying hard to get a left handed batter
