nice additions by AA today, dave bush welcome back

anyways some draft talk

guys i would like to get if avaliable, anyone of them ill be happy

bryant, i doubt he gets past red sox, power potential, hit for average, elite potential

stewart, health issues because he is diabetic, but i really like his upside as a big league pitcher

trey ball, 2 way upside, as a pitcher and hitter, could be great in either of those 2 positions

Reese McGuire, good all around catcher, above average power potential, calls a good game, good hitting skills, gives a great effort every game

any of these players ill be happy, but we should still get a blue chipper with our pick, assuming everything goes well
If Reese McGuire is the bpa draft him but not just because he is a catcher. We have a couple good catchers in the system and it is never a good idea to draft by team need especially in a sport were players take several years to develop.

Also no Boras clients like Appel.

true, if everyone else is gone, than choose mcguire, jiminez looks promising, good hitting skills, hopefully he keeps developing

i didn't include appel, because I only named guys who I think could be available, I doubt appel is available

who is your pick, or think will be available at 10

No Idea to be honest. Dont really follow that level of baseball. Closer to the draft I will probably read up on the top prospects but even then I wont know nearly as much as most of the regulars on this board.

And I know you didnt include Appel that was just the extent of the input I could offer at this point. No Boras clients. With the new draft rules signing 1 of his guys would blow the rest of the draft for us.

I know literally nothing about this year's draft, minus Mark Appel, but I'd love it if the Jays got to draft a player by the name of Trey Ball.

85% knuckleball, 14% fastball, 1% change up.

"discount" and "Boras" don't mix. Even so, he won't take anything less than 12m on a one year deal, and it's more likely that he's looking for a multi-year deal.

Soriano is looking for a multi year deal. He just left 14 mill on the table after he opted out with Yankees. After a year he's had he'll be looking for a big pay day. Somehow I doubt he gets the $$$ he's after.

Pass on soriano. I'm not a believer in making a reliever earn more money than our ace. We have a lot of solid internal options and I believe Janssen is solid as the closer and is good enough to get us in the playoffs. romero will be solid in the pen in the playoffs. I'm not going to count on santos for anything though. I hope Oliver comes back he would complete the pen IMO. It's to bad AA couldn't get Parnell in the mets deal.

Not only that but we are at our limit. If we didn't dish out 6 mill to Adams (unless maybe he didn't wana come here), I doubt we dish 12-14 mill for him. He's going to get a crazy offer from someone (Dodgers maybe)

As much as I don't want them to improve their pitching, I can see the Angels dishing out some more cash to improve their bullpen.

Tortorella has got to be the biggest Yankee homer on this board. Talk about being delusional.

Yankee fans are seriously jealous its unbelievable. I have a friend that keeps saying the Jays aren't that good and have question marks. It's like look at your roster, talk about question marks.

same, one of my choices, 2 way upside
as pitcher and hitter
IMO I want him to choose hitting

I know this question obviously wasn't directed at me, but I'm also a pretty big fan of Ian Clarkin and Oscar Mercado. I also don't mind Colin Moran, although I definitely prefer Kris Bryant.

My three favourites are Kris Bryant, Kohl Stewart, and (if by some miracle he drops) Clint Frazier. I honestly think Clint Frazier could have a Mike Trout-esque bat. The kid's bat speed is ridiculous. No chance he makes it to ten though, unfortunately. I could also include Austin Wilson, but I don't think he makes it to ten. Then again, Kris Bryant and Kohl Stewart may very well not be available at ten, in which case I would take a strong look at Mercado.

Of course, these are just my opinions as of right now. It's only December, and a lot can change.

Somebody like Wilson or Bryant dropping to 10 would absolutely be the cherry on top of this ridiculous off-season, but I have confidence in Anthopolous' scouts, and I imagine the team's ability to sign players should be enhanced by Toronto's recent surge in cred.

This video got me pretty pumped for the season, I just don't like how AA says signing even though he traded for the players but still, easily worth a watch.

frazier, like u said, very unlikely he drops to 10, bat speed is awesome, above average power potential,

but I am sure AA will make great choice like he always does
