Hanrahan might be a good closer, but how many chances will he get if Boston can't put together wins and be competitive?

Also with Baltimore overachieving last year, specifically with their ridiculous record in 1-run games, I don't see them doing nearly as well .. They're in for a letdown year IMO

If Lester has a similar year to 2012 the Red Sox rotation will be laughable.

This thread is moving so slowly. We need another crazy rumor.

Come on Anthopoulos. You haven't let us down yet.

I heard, in wake of all the wheelings and dealings AA has done this offseason, Joey Votto wants to get out of Cinci and head to his home nation to win a World Series with the Jays ... Rumour is that the Reds are somewhat high on Lind and reaaaaallly like Sierra's potential

:sarcasm:

Why, that's just ridiculous enough to be believable!

How much better can we get?

If Santos returns to form, we have a solid 8-9 combo with Janssen.

Unless we add Kinsler or someone at 2nd what can we do?

This just in..

The Toronto Star is reporting that tattoos on Toronto Blue Jay Brett Lawrie's arm have engaged in a confrontation with the tattoos on Sergio Santos. Things escalated quickly during a gym workout before Brett Cecil's ink could step in. According to sources they've rented a barn in the Muskokas and are planning to duke it out live on pay per view. (note: blacked out in canada)

Full article here.

Former Toronto Blue Jay Ryan Freel has died at the age of 36, with the cause of death ruled as a suicide.

Legit lefty DH/1B power bat for the #5 spot

... But I don't want to get greedy... ;)

Going with the common trend of obtaining switch hitters this off-season, why not get a guy like Justin Smoak from Seattle? He's never reached his full potential and he's got tons of power and I think could be had for very little.

Well.. Ya .. If you want to be realistic about it...
