I cant decide what I'd rather see done with him. On one hand he could be pretty good out of the pen, although last year he wasn't great, he was much better as a starter.

on the other hand, he could stay stretched out in Buffalo which creates a spot for some of the other pen options.

Good points, but he's simply too good to keep down in Buffalo. After Janssen, Delabar and Loup, he'd be next in line in terms of who I trust. (this ofcourse based off of last season)

lol with all this Jays talk from everyone, does this mean people are coming to games now?! I've always wanted to see that place packed

David Price ‏@DAVIDprice14
Why you attend them?! tons of room at least lol RT @Ooosh_E: @DAVIDprice14 David, as someone that attends games, I am mildly offended! Haha!

David Price ‏@DAVIDprice14
hahahahahahah RT @dwscaity_cakes: @DAVIDprice14 lol maybe their spies can blend in more. ;)

Good stuff haha...when's the first time we play them at home (not that anyone willl care about it come three hours from now, nevermind April)

It's hilarious that he's talking smack about Jays fans attending games if the team is good. The Rays are good and still nobody shows up. What's that say about them?

Worst attendance in the league. Imagine if they were bad again.

The thing is, from his perspective, nobody comes...well, people come out for Yankees and Red Sox games...but ain't nobody wanna see a Rays game

I certainly expect a boost in attendance this year, but I'd temper some of your expectations... I'd be very surprised to see the Dome start selling out most Saturdays/Sundays (outside of Red Sox/Yankees games) one year after averaging 25-30k on said days the year before.

glad I'm not the only one who still calls it the Dome

Thought you guys might get a kick out of this. Night and day. Literally, and figuratively.

base paths....it's....beautiful...*eyes tear up*

With the financial commitment they've just made I'm more comfortable now calling in the rogers center but it'll remain the dome really to most of us.

The past few weeks I've been slowly referring to it as the RC more often. Gotta give Rogers and co credit. I still call it the Skydome amongst my close friends though. Force of habit. The "concrete convertible" has to be one of the better nicknames.

That pic of the RC looks awesome. Grass and base paths make a huge difference. Nobody would make fun of it once we get grass in and it starts looking and feeling a lot more like a ballpark. When the dome is open there isn't much to complain about with the RC, the CN tower right beside it on a gorgeous day, nothin is better. When the dome is closed however yikes.

I still contend that Rogers Dome or Rogers SkyDome would have been much better

"Centre" is just so... lifeless and generic

I just realized we're the only "center" in baseball, everyone else is 'field' 'park' or 'stadium' (and coliseum in oakland)

why is it that Tampa can use the same surface, but they at least have a diamond/basepaths?

So where do you rank Toronto's farm system now? 1-30

Klaw (3:06 PM)

I haven't done firm rankings yet, but top of my head I'd say 16-20 range.

Sounds about right. While Jays lost some top prospects to promotions and trades the biggest reason why they were right up there was the depth. Still some quality prospects left after the first 5-6 top guys.

Sanchez is obviously now cream of the crop but Norris and Smoral are 2 guys with huge upsides. Then the lesser known guys like Tirado and Cardona. They need some positional prospects.

You forgot Osuna whos most likely the best prospect after Sanchez and even tho Gose doesnt quality anymore I still consider him a prospect. We surely put a huge dent into the farm but theres still talent down there.
