He didn't look like a baseball player before, still doesn't now.

Meh, baseball has the widest diversity of player body types in professional sports. You have everything from the classic athlete to short speedy players to fat bodied pitchers/catchers. There's no such thing as not looking like a baseball player.

Good points, but he's simply too good to keep down in Buffalo. After Janssen, Delabar and Loup, he'd be next in line in terms of who I trust. (this ofcourse based off of last season)

I dont remember him being THAT good out of the pen. If Im remembering correctly, he stepped it up once put back in the rotation.

So who steps in for Synder and Nicholino in Lansing? I'm assuming Osuna is one after 20 strong innings with Vancouver. I'd assume that 2nd spot would be open for Norris but he had a step back this year so I'm not sure.

I still can't believe the season Taylor Cole had. 66.1IP, 0.81era, 57k.
He's been through the draft 3 times but seemed to find lightning in a bottle last year.

Dont forget, as they're introducing these guys to full season ball, we'll likely see piggy backing again.

These 5 should all be there IMO:

Norris, Osuna, Taylor Cole, Javier Avendano, Jeremy Gabryszwski

It's ridiculously hard lol. I tried when I was younger but it's all dependent on your release, wrist action, etc.

I would always throw it, but I never had evenly shaped fingernails (prone to biting :/) so it was always difficult to stay on the ball and release it properly with no spin.

Imagine if I perfected my throw. Lefty knuckler, the next Wilbur Wood... lol

Bob McCown mentioned it the other day. Pretty much said there have been discussions about it and if it happens, it'll be either 2014 or 2015. Argos would have to find a new home though.

Don't know how legitimate that rumor is.

There must be an alternate option where you lay the Argo turf on top of the grass field.

I would imagine that with the right sprinkler/airflow system you can build something on top of the grass. Perhaps way too expensive but must be possible to do.

My brother was really good at throwing pitches with movement. He threw a great curve and had a real good feel for a knuckleball and at a young age. I use to catch for him when he was practising and it was cool to watch as a young kid.

I assume cost would be the issue moreso than how possible it is to be done.

Just relating it to park weddings where they lay a wood dancefloor on the grass, the grass gets a bit flat by the weight on it (this shouldn't be hard to fix) and it can't stay for too long as the grass will turn brown (no longer than a day or two I think). Maybe they should do some trail runs with it. It may also be time consuming because there is a short window that the grass can be covered which would mean assembly of the turf right before a game and the removal of the turf right afterwards. The same with concerts and other events held in the RC where they would need flooring in place of the grass. No reason why they can't do a small trial test to see how long the grass can be covered up for.

looks good, but I am not comfortable with osuna, I know he dominated last year as a 17 year old, but he is only 17, to go to A ball, at a young age is kind of rushing him
plus we have an elite rotation, there is no need to rush prospects,
I say start osuna in vancouver, give him 5 starts than if he continues to do well, than move him up
this is of course just my opinion,
if we don't have a choice, than I guess we have to start
this guy has elite potential written all over him
