Thats what im thinking too, you might as well package Kirk if we do sign Freeman since we have Moreno coming up and Vlad/Freeman getting DH time so why not try to get yourself a top notch 2B or huge pitching upgrade and going all out.

J.India seems way too expensive for the Reds, maybe they'll be looking to move him.

Long term, we actually use a FT DH as a worst case scenario.

McGuire has very little trade value, and until Moreno's ready I'm not sure you want to run a duo of Jansen/McGuire. It's not terrible, but unless you're getting a good deal I don't think you actively search out a trade of Kirk.

Kirk is a very good hitter. Running 3 catcher on the roster and Kirk DHing a bunch is quite reasonable, especially since the rosters are going to be expanded early in the year because of the short spring training. Jansen starts 4/5, Kirk starts at C 1/5, and DH 3/5, McGuire fills the water bottles and is there if injuries/late game subs need to happen while Kirk is DHing.
 
If the Jays somehow manage to get both Schwarber and Freeman, then you instantly look to trade Gurriel + Kirk + Groshans to the A's for Chapman. Hello World Series Champions.

Schwarber would be unbelievable. We desperately need a big lefty bat to balance out the lineup. Either him or Freeman depending on who's cheaper.

Schwab we would unquestionably be cheaper, Freeman is the better player.

Would be thrilled with either, despite neither filling a positional need.
