Would have worked out well but on of Grichuk or Gurriel would have to be moved for Winker. And since Winker cant play CF, it might have been Gurriel.

I think the Jays are going bigger game hunting; Freeman, Correra, Story, and even Bryant

Jesse Winker is a guy we could have used. Great player.

Was thinking the same and the cost didn’t seem prohibitive. Wonder if they’ve cleared all the salary they wanted to now. Their asking prices seem reasonable at best so far

As much fun as it would be to sign Freeman I'm skeptical about how both eh and Vlad fits defensively. All the big additions have potential issues though so it's not like the decision is clear

Correa: Expensive, does Bo play 3rd?
Byrant: How does he age?
Freeman: Where does Vlad play?
Ramirez: Goodbye Moreno
Chapman: Potentially expensive in assets, not a certainty offensively
Schwarber: Defense
Conforto: Coming off a down year

in the event of Correa, I'm thinking Espinal at 3rd, Bo at 2nd, Biggio either on the bench or out the door. I don't know how you can trust Bo's arm at third

Well, Vladdy has always said that he prefers 3B. Fat Vladdy couldn't handle the position, but we haven't tried skinny Vlad there yet - perhaps he's up to the task now.
