Anyone have a mock lineup for Canada's WBC team?
Perhaps something like
1. Otto Lopez (SS)
2. Freddie Freeman (1B/DH)
3. Tyler O'Neill (CF)
4. Bo Naylor (C)
5. Abraham Toro (2B/3B)
6. Edouard Julien (DH/LF)
7. Charles Leblanc (3B/2B)
8. Jared Young (RF)
9. Jacob Robson (LF)
Daniel Pinero
Adam Hall
Owen Caissie
Tanner Kirwer
Andy Yerzy/Kole Cattam/Kellin Deglan/Jordan Procyshen/J.D. Osborne (backup C, tbh just pick a body)
OUT: Josh Naylor, Joey Votto
Bench could be a bit different but I think the main lineup will feature the guys listed. There's also a high likelihood they fill some spots with indy ball/overseas players (Daniel Pinero, TJ Bennett, Michael Crouse) who are more matured and/or MLB orgs don't want to mess with a prospects' development. Jake Sanford may have been a guy but unlikely now due to the whole scamming/theft business.
There's a decent amount of talent in the minors but probably won't be given a shot at this WBC. Dasan Brown, Damian Palmegiani, Owen Caissie, Denzel Clarke, Tyler Black, Jordan Nwogu, Trei Cruz, Tristan Peters, David Calabrese. David McCabe.
Pitching side will for sure be without Romano (Italy), Paxton, Taillon, and Soroka.

In the end they're not really a competitive team with Votto, Naylor, Paxton, Soroka, and Romano all off the squad. Mexico hasn't released their roster yet but I doubt Canada will stand a chance against them. They have the potential to steal a win from Colombia though.
