It is rumored in Toronto that Justin Turner reached an agreement with the Toronto Blue Jays and from today to tomorrow he will be under contract with them

I'm pretty sure it is, but in also pretty sure he's been wrong about a lot of stuff like this.I don't remember if a) that's actually Carlos Baerga and b) if he's reliable as a rumor source regardless of (a).
Yeah, I view it as a move that lengthens the lineup rather than really bolstering it. There's nothing wrong with that, but they're still one impact bat away from finishing the team. It's not the worst move.
He's a quality hitter and said to be a great vet.
You keep Bichette in the 2 spot not hit the league leader in hits 5thThe Jays should overpay for J.D Martinez.
3. Vlad Jr.
4. Martinez
5. Bichette
This has the potential to be one of the better 3-4-5's in baseball if Vlad can get back to 2021 form. And I still think this team has one of the deeper lineups from 5-9. I only worry about 2-3-4.

I think this one pretty much rules out a Chapman return (where do IKF and Turner get any playing time if they also add a full-time 3B?) and increases the likelihood of Espinal not making it through the offseason with the team.
I had the same thought, too. With Kiermaier back, I thought he didn't make a lot of sense. But now they've added two RHH infielders, one who will need plenty of time at DH (or at 1B, moving Vlad to DH). Soler and Martinez are both RHH mostly DH as well, so playing time might be a little awkward. The situation screams “Bellinger” I hope they can still sign him.
